When I first joined this community I went to FAQ's & Support. Now that there are more of us who are familiar with creating and hosting Groups, I thought we could offer a bit of Mod Training 101. Start of Mod Training Locate <—- Left Side Bar Members Recent Discussions Locate these and check them out for yourself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Admin is a section available only in the Groups that you moderate. You can check that out later. For now, go to the next line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Discussions I liked Groups My All Active New Then look at the right of the screen. Right Side Widgets —-> About this Group Group Members Group ActivityGroup Grapevine On your computer, what do you key to open a new window or new tab? I use control + click over the link on the Mac. How do you open a separate window or tab on your computer? To sign off all of the above that you have located the left and right bars… Write something in the Grapevine. - - - - - - - > If there are any links or words you don't understand in the left or right bars, let any moderator know. If we don't understand these two functions as mods, it means that our other users possibly don't as well. Conditional: On the two features below, if your machine is to slow to upload a picture; or put in a YouTube, just place a link to a picture using the chain in the buttons at the top of the edit screen. Start your own reply to this thread and write some trick or tip! On your answer below, Attach Image(s) by pushing Choose File in the rectangle and show that you can add a picture. If this function doesn't work on your computer, just link us to a picture. Add any YouTube in the URL space below under Attach Videos. The one I added refers to other sites like Facebook, MySpace, an linkedIn but are the same mechanics for www.gaia.com Thank you for helping your members. Any questions on this first lesson?  |

I brought this thread over and we are now helping Mye on computer navigation for Gaia and the internet. Please step in and help out here and let's make certain she can do these drills here with a small amount of practice. Thanks!!! |

Wow… the answers to Myefate's questions are here by 1Vector3 “OM” and FastDart . Below is a picture of the chain from above and once one window/tab is open you can copy either the URL or mouse over something that is in blue and right/left click or control + menu and paste into the other open window being linked to. Thanks OM for the FAQ's on RSS… very cool!  |

I have a question (no pun) On all of the little question marks above…. I didn't remove them from this thread as I wanted to know how mods are handling this small glitch within your groups. Thanks!!! I will still fix these but if someone knows that this can be handled mechanically “under the hood” let me know so I don't waste time repairing threads that don't need it.  |
