Hi Everyone, My name is Jodie and on February 24th I am walking with the college to raise money for MS. Having multiple sclerosis means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are different, and devastating, for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.
I've registered for the MS Walk because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with a diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability.
I would appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small. To walk I need to raise at least $50, but that is just the minimum. Iwould love to raise more for those who need it. I have set my goal at $100, and if I can exceed that goal it would be great. The money goes directly to the South Florida Chapter through their website, not to me,soplease do not worry about this being a scamfor money. I do not recieve any of the donators personal details given when the contribution ismade.
If you are interested in donating and helping me to help people with MS, then please visit my personal page within theMS website.
