Hey! It is amazing how life turns out sometimes.  I've been hoping to find a place like this for a while and this site just popped up on me during a scholarship search! I am so happy to be a part of this site and I look forward to expressing my ideas and opinions as well as gaining insight through other people's thoughts and opnions.  A little bit about myself:  my two passions are music and nature.  I love being outdoors, away from it all -it is so envigorating to be part of something that functions independently of society.  I spend a good deal of my time reading, anything from fantasy novels to british literature.  I am going to be a marine and wildlife biologist someday and I hope to help promote wildlife conservation.
