I entered a contest for a scholarship. It's a poetry contest, though I can't remember the name off the top of my head and I don't feel like going back to FastWeb right now to look for it. Anyway, they take a bunch of the poems that they think are really good and make a poetry book out of them all. I submitted my poem “The Girl” (see my blog if you want to read it). I don't know if I've won the scholarship or not, but I really don't care. It was good enough for them to put it into their book. I'm so psyched. Thanks for reading my rambling. |

That's so cool! I'm happy for you. I've gotten one of my poems published a while back, though not for a scholarship, and it was so exciting. I wish you the best. |

Congratulations! I read the poem and it is absolutely lovely. I can see golden hair sparkling in soft sunlight and smell crisp, green granny smith apples. Keep writting! Your work is a delight to read. |
