Prayers for a friend

There's a boy I love…
not a boyfriend.  Just a friend.
(Not just a friend, because he's more)
But I love him, and I want him to be happy.
This boy tells me I'm the only one
he can ever talk to… in fact,
he tells the world… which
would make me happy if
he'd talk to me.
Because if I am
the only one, and
if he does not talk
to me, which he wont,
then i know he is not talking
to anyone… maybe God,
but maybe, i think, not.
And I pray that he
can find the time
he says he needs
to think, and talk
to God, or maybe me.

It's been a while since you posted this, but I hope your friend is able to open up to someone. I've struggled with talking to people before, and it's amazing how cathartic it can feel when you finally let loose!

You'll both be in my prayers.
