Where were you, what were you doing, when you KNEW you were MORE?Peggy J [no longer around] said Dec 9, 2006, 3:31 PM: |

There are times in our lives when suddenly there is an immense expansion, suddenly we are so much more than the day, even the moment before this awareness occurs. I am talking about being fully cognitive of this expansion. Sure we all have glimpses as children, as some are fortunate enough to keep in touch with the MORE that we already are, most though lose that awareness and then the long journey of rediscovery to THAT THAT WE ARE begins. GRANDMOTHER FIRE RISING
To the east of San Diego, under an Anza Borrego full moon Wild Coyote-Crone Woman sings a melodious tune Where she once walked naked through cactus and brier brush Leaving behind Earth-clan and goods turning to dust Wild Coyote-Crone Woman laughs easily, sings, hums… Here, a finger points to the ground… Put your left ear close to the sand Listen, Do you hear the hoof-beats that make no sound? Look up! Do you see the three Red Chiefs astride three white stallion? There, over there, See the five women elders seated round the fire. Once… stalled in this desert Out of water Out of food.. Out of tears Surrendered Wild Coyote-Crone Woman stood Here, says the finger, again pointing to the sand Up to here her footprints ran… Like an hourglass Wrong side up Too long in the desert heat turned itself inside out In one breath One great sigh Wild Coyote-Crone Woman became The sand The moon The sky. *PJ Starr a/k/a Arpana Anandya Wall hanging & poem |

I always knew I was different. However, when I began to listen to Canada's public radio station, CBC Radio 1, and really listened, I became inspired. I heard people like me, with my visions, speaking my thoughts. I was not alone! In addition, I fell in love with my country and its inhabitants, my neighbours, from coast to coast to coast. I knew then that I had a purpose, to help and sustain what is good in all people, the ordinary common people like you and I, but I also realized that in order to do so, I had to help myself first. And that's why I'm here. |
