Suggestions For Italy Tour?

I certainly wasn't questioning your word or objectivity Dale, merely suggesting this situation was/is an opportunity to test how strong our compassion is. Did we pass the test? Each day in many ways we are tested and I feel by attaching so much importance to the ego side of this situation that perhaps you failed to see there was a spiritual opportunity for growth for all to grow from.We are all perfect in our own way, even our imperfections are perfect.
His account has been closed now so the subject should also be. You have made you point and won your war.LOL

Well, I DID send a message alerting the Gaia Team before I started this thread. I wanted to see if others were having simular problems with this person, hence this attempt to gain more information. My word alone may not be enough to convey the objective understanding of the situation, as you and Dianne have already indicated.

The troll's account has already been wiped out, though.

Dale as an ambassador wouldn't it have been more appropriate to convey your concerns to the team rather than publically rail a person that could very well be mentally ill?

I have also dealt 'up close and personal' with the mentally ill. They are people and as such deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and understanding.

Interesting responses. But I have dealt with mentally ill people up close and personal, and while compassion for them may be merited, so is keeping yourself wary of them. They can do a lot of damage to themselves and others if not kept closely watched and restricted.

If what you say is true, he'll be enjoying the notoriety.

From his posts he seems to want people to think he has a few kangaroos loose in the top paddock.

It isn't beyond the realms of possibility he's seeking help and is looking for someone that is genuinely interested in hearing his story.

Perhaps compassion rather than condemnation might be the better approach.

Hey Loved Ones, how are you all doing??? This morning I am not feeling confident in my conversation cafe'. I know I must have faith in my project, but there are only four of us signed up when there are supposed to be 15. I am happy that some people are interested, but I just didn't get the outcome I expected. What do you all think?

Twice in my life I’ve contracted spinal meningitis, once at age 4 and again at 28. I was fortunate to survive the second time after ending up in a coma in an isolated Norwegian town. Both times the disease followed vaccinations. Is this a coincidence? If we believe the press, New Zealand has had an epidemic of spinal meningitis since 1991. A recent guest of mine on Voices from the North, talented naturopath, homeopath and osteopath, John Summerville stated in our show that of the people diagnosed with flu in 1918 and treated with conventional allopathic medicine there was a 28% mortality rate. Of those treated with homeopathics less than 0.1 of 1% died. The medical community, supported by the pharmaceutical companies that make untold billions from vaccines, claims vaccinations have eradicated all sorts of killer diseases from the earth. Yet study after independent study show that the arrival of the vaccine followed the decline of the disease. The same studies and others demonstrate conclusively that cleanliness, hygiene and improved living conditions actually eliminated the diseases. London experienced seven major cholera outbreaks in the 1800s at a time when the inhabitants of that city lived in filth and squalor. Cholera is still found today in places with similar filthy living conditions. Polio too is a water-borne disease and it disappeared in America when chlorinated water filtration plants were introduced in the early 1960s. Only 40% of medical workers choose to be vaccinated despite tremendous pressure to do so. Why? When NY State recently instituted compulsory swine flu vaccinations for health care workers did these same workers say, “Thank you?” No, they rose up in unison and marched at the state capital in Albany in protest. If they feel so strongly how should the general public feel? Our two daughters, now age 19 and 16, have never been vaccinated. They have also never had to visit a doctor nor has either of them ever taken so much as an aspirin. Granted, they’ve each had the occasional cold or flu. But nothing that rest, plenty of fluids and natural remedies wouldn’t heal. In the deliberate manufactured hype of today I urge you to use common sense and avoid being subjected to any dangerous vaccinations. And remember, as Dr. Moulden says, they’re all dangerous to some degree.

Held in public spaces like cafés, restaurants and bars, Conversation Cafés provide an open forum to talk about important topics while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea, or glass of wine. People of every philosophical, political and personality stripe circle up around tables and beverages to earnestly shift from small talk to BIG talk. Everyone is welcome. There's nothing to join. Anyone can come, just once or many times. There are no books to read, no assignments, and no dues (except a bite to eat at the café). A few consistent elements allow a "new way of talking" that shifts from small talk to BIG talk: Hosts : One or two people are on hand to greet people, orient them to the process and launch the conversation. Agreements : 6 principles common to most dialogue and circle groups guide the conversations: . Suspend judgment as best you can . Respect one another . Seek to understand rather than persuade . Invite and honor diversity of opinion . Speak what has personal heart and meaning . Go for honesty and depth without going on and on A simple process : The Conversation Cafés adapt two ancient traditions: the talking-stick circle and deep dialogue.
