Hey Loved Ones, how are you all doing??? This morning I am not feeling confident in my conversation cafe'. I know I must have faith in my project, but there are only four of us signed up when there are supposed to be 15. I am happy that some people are interested, but I just didn't get the outcome I expected. What do you all think?

Thanks. This is really wonderful. As much as I love exploring ideologies, this is really practical. It really helps initiate action, not just reflection!

Twice in my life I’ve contracted spinal meningitis, once at age 4 and again at 28. I was fortunate to survive the second time after ending up in a coma in an isolated Norwegian town. Both times the disease followed vaccinations. Is this a coincidence? If we believe the press, New Zealand has had an epidemic of spinal meningitis since 1991. That’s the very year the MMR vaccine was introduced here. Is this a coincidence? Click here to watch a family's story of child vaccine injury. A family who sued the makers of the MMR vaccine for causing their child's brain damage..........and they won the law suit. There’s a Canadian doctor causing ripples if not tidal waves in the ocean of mainstream medicine today. He claims every vaccine causes a tiny stroke in the person receiving it. He says the effects of these vaccine-induced strokes are cumulative. Dr. Andrew Moulden has traced the clotting blood, common in the metabolism after vaccination, to brain damage in many children. A. True Ott, PhD, ND has written a convincing treatise claiming that all pandemics in the last hundred years have been induced by vaccines. The list includes the 1918 flu pandemic, polio (the ONLY cases of recorded polio in the modern era have immediately followed vaccinations), the 1976 "Swine Flu" Fiasco, AIDS and “Gulf War Syndrome”. For more detail visit here. Another Canadian doctor Ghislaine Lanctôt, author of the Medical Mafia, has underscored the lawsuit recently filed by Austrian journalist Jane Bürgermeister against the WHO, the UN, and several high ranking government and corporate officials. Bürgermeister has documented how an international corporate criminal syndicate plans to unleash a deadly flu virus and institute a forced vaccination program. Read more here. A recent guest of mine on Voices from the North, talented naturopath, homeopath and osteopath, John Summerville stated in our show that of the people diagnosed with flu in 1918 and treated with conventional allopathic medicine there was a 28% mortality rate. Of those treated with homeopathics less than 0.1 of 1% died. The medical community, supported by the pharmaceutical companies that make untold billions from vaccines, claims vaccinations have eradicated all sorts of killer diseases from the earth. Yet study after independent study show that the arrival of the vaccine followed the decline of the disease. The same studies and others demonstrate conclusively that cleanliness, hygiene and improved living conditions actually eliminated the diseases. London experienced seven major cholera outbreaks in the 1800s at a time when the inhabitants of that city lived in filth and squalor. Cholera is still found today in places with similar filthy living conditions. Polio too is a water-borne disease and it disappeared in America when chlorinated water filtration plants were introduced in the early 1960s. Only 40% of medical workers choose to be vaccinated despite tremendous pressure to do so. Why? When NY State recently instituted compulsory swine flu vaccinations for health care workers did these same workers say, “Thank you?” No, they rose up in unison and marched at the state capital in Albany in protest. If they feel so strongly how should the general public feel? Our two daughters, now age 19 and 16, have never been vaccinated. They have also never had to visit a doctor nor has either of them ever taken so much as an aspirin. Granted, they’ve each had the occasional cold or flu. But nothing that rest, plenty of fluids and natural remedies wouldn’t heal. In the deliberate manufactured hype of today I urge you to use common sense and avoid being subjected to any dangerous vaccinations. And remember, as Dr. Moulden says, they’re all dangerous to some degree.

Come let loose with a cup of coffee or tea and some lively conversation at a Conversation Cafe. Conversation Cafés are lively hosted conversations among small groups of people with diverse views but a shared passion for engaging with others. Held in public spaces like cafés, restaurants and bars, Conversation Cafés provide an open forum to talk about important topics while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea, or glass of wine. People of every philosophical, political and personality stripe circle up around tables and beverages to earnestly shift from small talk to BIG talk. Everyone is welcome. There's nothing to join. Anyone can come, just once or many times. There are no books to read, no assignments, and no dues (except a bite to eat at the café). A few consistent elements allow a "new way of talking" that shifts from small talk to BIG talk: Hosts : One or two people are on hand to greet people, orient them to the process and launch the conversation. Agreements : 6 principles common to most dialogue and circle groups guide the conversations: . Suspend judgment as best you can . Respect one another . Seek to understand rather than persuade . Invite and honor diversity of opinion . Speak what has personal heart and meaning . Go for honesty and depth without going on and on A simple process : The Conversation Cafés adapt two ancient traditions: the talking-stick circle and deep dialogue. Two rounds of speaking without interruption introduce a quality of listening and reflecting that opens people to themselves and one another. People can pass if they like. They can be silent as their way of speaking. Then a lively conversation happens, keeping in mind the agreements to inquire rather than assert and debate. At the end, a final 'talking stick' round anchors for each participant the gems they are taking away. November's topic is Homelessness in the High Desert. Volunteers must be 16 years of age to attend this event. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian complete a HOIE Liability and Release form for Minors. Do you have a question that would be a good topic? Email it to jbastian@ieuw.org.
Impact Areas: Citizen Action/Academy, Community Enrichment, Citizen Action/Academy
Interests: There are no interests specified for this project.
Skills: There are no skills specified for this project.

My special guest on Voices from the North Wednesday, October 21st was activist Ashiya Austin, co-founder of the Coalition for Humanity in Australia. Here’s a lady unafraid to speak from her heart contrary to messages perpetuated in mainstream media. I interviewed her two years ago when she visited New Zealand from her then home base of Byron Bay in New South Wales in Australia. At the time she was on a mission to protect the whales of the Southern Ocean from illegal whaling. Now she has a new bee in her bonnet. She’s here to wake people up to the dangers of the Swine Flu vaccine and to the (as she claims) agenda behind the apparent scare of today. I urge you to listen to the interview. It has shades of Orwell’s 1984 or a Ludlum novel. And Ashiya claims it’s really happening. With the news in the last days in America I can hardly believe the timely nature of this interview. I’ve got some other pressing writing currently so this is it for now. I’ll be posting more soon. Again, Ashiya outlines the dangers in the Swine Flu Vaccine and in the concerns she and others have of an agenda to use the vaccine to depopulate the world. Yes, you read this correctly. This is a controversial interview I urge you to listen to with an open mind. It contains an audio clip of retired Finnish Chief Medical Officer Rauni Kilde and another of the catchy rap Flu Song. Here’s the link to the interview:http://www.odeo.com/episodes/25355635-Ashiya-Austin-and-the-Swine-Flu-Vaccine

When I got the email tonight from Siona, I signed up right away. Here is what my welcome letter said - now, I ask you, my fellow feminine Gaians, does this not sound enticing? Want to join in?

Dear Nicole,

Welcome to our Women On The Edge Of Evolution global community!

We are delighted to have you with us for our FREE online 14 week tele-series.

Over the next several months, beginning next week, Saturday, October 17th, you are invited to participate live on the phone and over the internet in weekly dialogues that will explore our creative potential as women to become active and empowered agents of cultural evolution.

The weekly dialogues are a space for us to gather, and engage a conversation about how we might come into the fullness of our power, self-expression and active participation to co-create a better future for ourselves, for our children, and for all beings. And, of course, we'll be shining a light on the inspiring lives and visionary messages of the 14 women leaders who are presenting in the series.

This series, our list of extraordinary presenters includes: Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jean Houston, Elizabeth Debold, Lynne McTaggart, Marilyn Schlitz, Mary Manin Morrissey, Diane Musho Hamilton, Sally Kempton, Sofia Diaz, Rickie Byars Beckwith, Elza Maalouf, Katherine Woodward Thomas and Claire Zammit.

At the end of each dialogue, there will be a 30-minute period where we will take your questions and comments. Questions will be taken live on the phone, or via instant message if you are listening in via the internet.

The dialogues will be held on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Each week, you will receive an email containing the access codes, and a description of that week's dialogue. You will have the option of participating in the dialogue by dialing into our conference line, or by listening to the webcast live via the internet.

If you are unable to make it live to the dialogue, or if you wish to listen to it again, you will be able to easily access the recording online, or download it onto your computer and/or your audio player.

The start of our series is next Saturday, October 17th. We begin with a special extended 2 hour event that runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time, with an opening meditation, ceremony and introduction to the series with our dear friend and distinguished pioneer of women's evolution, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and then moving into what we are sure will be an exceptionally inspiring dialogue with an extraordinary leader in consciousness, bestselling author, Lynne McTaggart.

We are thrilled to have you with us for this very exciting event! If you can, please try to join us live as we weave a field of collective power and intention to transform our lives and our world.

We are grateful for the strong support and valued partnership of GAIA community and our team FemininePower.com, as well as all our co-sponsors who are helping to make this ground-breaking tele-series possible.

To the future of our lives and our world,

Katherine Woodward Thomas & Claire Zammit
www.WomenOnTheEdgeOfEvolution.com
www.FemininePower.com

It threatens to cause famine, flooding, war, and millions of refugees.

Given the urgency of the issue of climate change and the upcoming international climate negotiations in Copenhagen this December, we think the blogosphere has the unique opportunity to mobilize millions of people around expressing support for finding a sustainable solution to the climate crisis. We encourage you to write about climate change in the context of how it relates to the topic of your blog.

To help you start thinking, here are a few ideas about how you might connect climate change to things that you might already write about:

A Technology or Business blog might write about emerging clean tech and how innovative companies might be able to help address the problem of climate change.

A Health or Lifestyle blog might write about how climate change will affect our children's health and daily living.A Nonprofit or Political blog might write about how climate change is deeply connected to many other issues - such as poverty and conflict.

A Design blog might write about new trends in eco-friendly or sustainable design.

A Travel blog might write about the places you want to see now before climate change makes them difficult to access or, well, under the sea.

      Thanks for this Dale!
Wonderful information. It is so amazing to know that there is so much being done about this epidemic. As a South African living in the country with the highest population of infected individuals I think about this issue every day. This is such an important cause. There is so much suffering all around us because of this disease.

Thank you again! The silver lining is beautiful. :)

It’s the first time that any vaccine against the disease has even partly succeeded in a clinical trial.
The thing is, scientists don’t really know why it works. The vaccine is a combination of two genetically engineered vaccines, neither of which had worked before in humans. Although it protected too few people to be a straight-up success, it’s still significant. “I don’t want to use a word like ‘breakthrough,’ but I don’t think there’s any doubt that this is a very important result,” said Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
“For more than 20 years now, vaccine trials have essentially been failures,” he continued. “Now it’s like we were groping down an unlit path, and a door has been opened. We can start asking some very important questions.”
The vaccine, known as RV 144, was about 31.2 percent effective. Dr. Fauci said that a vaccine would probably have to be 70 or 80 percent effective to be licensed, but he added, “If you have a product that’s even a little bit protective, you want to look at the blood samples and figure out what particular response was effective and direct research from there.”

Re: AIDS Vaccine Shows Success*Ladybear~ said Today, 11:55 AM:

The best updated information on AIDS comes from The Body

This is a page on the vaccine, the website has quite a few articles about it
if you search the word vaccine.
Their entire website is updated daily

My special guest on Voices from the North on Wednesday was John Summerville, an experienced and gifted naturopath, homeopath and osteopath—a man of many paths. Sorry, I couldn’t resist that. Here’s the link to the interview: http://www.odeo.com/episodes/25228719-John-Summerville-A-Homeopathic-Epiphany John spoke with passion and humour of his overseas experiences leading to his work as New Zealand’s first paid Greenpeace staff member (“I think I earned the princely sum of $1 an hour!”). The story he tells of building an 18 foot diameter paper bomb to protest France’s nuclear testing at Mururoa Atoll is not to be missed. John, the bomb and then-opposition MP David Lange were front page news and caused a momentary stir in the everyday lives of New Zealanders of the day. Of course, this experience (and others) left Lange with little choice but to carry the ‘anti-nuclear’ mantle when he took up office as New Zealand’s prime minister. As current NZ leader John Key is apt to broadcast, there is distinct national pride associated with these acts and they are part of the New Zealand psyche of today. A year of 80-90 hour work weeks with Greenpeace left John burned out. He realized he would have to heal himself before he could heal the world. A friend suggested he visit a homeopath. His first taste of homeopathy can only be described as an epiphany and changed the course of his life. ‘The next day it felt as if the whole of my previous life I’d been standing under a cloud and now I was standing in the sun. It was really profound.’ John describes the origins of homeopathy with German doctor Samuel Hahnemaun and he concludes our talk with his take on flu vaccines. During the 1918 flu pandemic there was a 28% mortality rate for people treated with conventional medicine. In startling contrast, less than 0.1 of 1% of people treated with homeopathy died. John urges people not to get caught in the emotionality of vaccines. He sees the swine flu as [just] another seasonal cold or flu, not something to be frightened of. Yes, sufferers may be a little more achy or feverish but then John reminds us of the importance of drinking plenty of fluids and resting. He has had clients who’ve had the ‘so-called swine flu’ for six weeks and it has been gone within a week of being treated with homeopathy. Here’s a link to an earlier blog on the possible cause of all modern pandemics: http://short.to/smuh Vaccinations can suppress the immune system and are not a ‘cure all.’ I’m amazed at how much discussion there currently is concerning vaccines. John cited a study stating the vaccination compliance rate for US health care workers was only 40%. What does it suggest to you if the people working with vaccines don’t want to be injected themselves? And here’s an interesting twist on that theme. I received an email yesterday with a link to a YouTube video speaking of mandatory vaccinations for health care workers.
