I wonder where this path leads?

PeacefulWarrior87 said May 29, 2008, 8:58 PM:

Hello, everyone.  I have had a terrible last semester, so many changes in my life, hard classes, breakup with a long-term girlfriend, and i was wound up like a kitestring.  a kitestring that is not currently being used to fly a kite.  I had started looking for relaxation techniques, and have always been interested in meditation.  this journey had refreshed my interest in personal developement and spiritual knowledge seeking, and thus i found Gaia.  i just signed up yesterday and I really like what i see so far.  it seems to be a very positive environment that everyone has established, and that is very useful, i believe, for developing a positive attitude and experiencing positive energy.  I hope that i can help to give back what others have done for me, and i hope that i can learn to reach further heights in the areas i am studying.  I am looking for teachers, coaches, friends, and maybe even family.  I am a martial artist(Jujitsu mainly) and a college student.  I am very open-minded and i always enjoy meeting new people.  this place is very big and confusing, and i find it hard to find my way around.  I hope to learn a lot from this place.

Hello, Peaceful Warrior!

You've definitely found the right online community!  Gaia is an incredible place, full of kind, sensitive, consciously evolving people.  You sound wonderfully wise, and thoughtful.  Welcome home!

Enjoy putting energy into building your page, and surfing around exploring.  Don't be shy about inviting people to be “friends.”  When you spot a kindred, go for it!  You'll be swimming around in synchronicity and authentic connection, in no time. :)

Love!

Sue

Welcome to Gaia! I remember being in the same overwhelm place when I first came to the  Gaia community as well. Others who have commented here in the lounge are also new, so I am going to share this tip as an excellant way of allowing us to connect with each other's work and other work we want to use as a way to expand our postings and comments.

First, the blue writing tells a reader that it is most likely a hyperlink. This is confirmed when you move your mouse over the blue letters and the arrow turns into a little hand - which is the sign that you can click on these words and link to more information.

Second, here is the Gaia help link that tells how to do this at http://support.gaia.com/faq#faq08. The Gaia Help button is on the top right hand side next to the “log in or out” button. I like to create my hyperlinks in a “new window” so the reader does not loose where they were while in the middle of reading a blog or comment.  I push “control” new window and keep the other pages open while checking out other's blue hyperlinks.

Third, The most creative, masterful and skilled users on my gaia network are inviting the Gaia Team to your friends and our world's best hyperlinker  read their blogs and you will find some of interest to you.   Take 45 minutes and follow some of the prompts and things will become familiar to you.

To gain expansion join Gaia Pro  and the Gaia Ambassadors

I hope this helps and makes your experience as part of the Gaia community that much more enjoyable!

Anyone can feel free to copy/paste this and pass it forward as it helped me and worked so the adventures on Gaia is always sharing abundantly.

Welcome I think. I haven't been here long either but it's a great place I've found. And BIG! Your into martial arts? Lately I've wanted to try jutjitsu. I'm in Kojosho Kempo Karate right now.  And have been getting back into the spiritual stuff lately.  Maybe I've done some meditation or maybe not I haven't really studied it.  Anyway You'll probably like this site. I've come to love it and the people here.
               Have fun exploring Naomi
