Brian, I hope you are already familiar with the Integral Leadership Review. It is a vehicle for change agents of all sorts. It is an enterprise of some level of conscious entrepreneurial energy, although there are times when I would question aspects of that consciousness as I watch my shadow dance. Certainly, within its “pages” are dozens of change agents and some with incredible consciousness such as those involved in programs around the world to reduce the incidence of HIV infection, address a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, seek a more effective approach to understanding, developing and practicing leadership in many venues. Read Cindy Wigglesworth’s remarkably practical article on leadership and spirit in the current issue. And there is much more to come as this epublication with over 1500 subscribers in over 60 countries will soon have its own website and the support of “leaders” in leadership to multiply the numbers of subscribers (subscriptions are free) while being supported by sponsors who believe in its transdisciplianry, developmental and integral approach. Those change agents who want the world to know more about their work, particularly through a lens such as ours will find the Integral Leadership Review receptive to innovative thinking and practice. We seek articles and – from those who can understand the benefit to themselves to be exposed to our very sophisticated audience – sponsorship to support the continuous development of this leading eduge publication. I thought I was A Change Agent. Ihave a Pod called ” HoHoChi Rhythm Group ” where I post a daily Polyrhythm. I aim to alter the way people percieve rhythm, first by naming every rhythm used, then by a practice of playing two separate rhythms, one in each hand simultaneously, to aquire an unconscious sense of musical space/time.

Change Agent? That would be me! At least according to the Enneagram personality test. I'm a Reformer, in their language. Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to be a teacher. And I don't mean someone who stands in front of a classroom and lectures! I have this very strong passion to help people understand things and show them all the amazing things in this Universe of ours, and then convince them to look at the world in different ways. |

Change Agent, I love that title. I can think of four very special Change Agents that I have the pleasure of knowing. I am in awe of their inspired vision and their determination to take action and share their ideas with the world. They follow their bliss, even when the journey is rough. These conscious entrepreneurs take their passions to the world with the intention of affecting a shift in consciousness while courageously bringing to world what they held in their hearts. Ward M. Powers is the Creator and Director and of ONE The Movie. Early one morning, in April, 2002, a middle-aged father of three from Michigan suddenly awoke from a sound sleep, overcome by a strange compulsion… to make a movie. Rhonda began to see that her entire life - everything she had ever done - had been quietly and steadily moving her towards the most perfect place for her to be able to fulfill her wish. And to fulfill it on the grandest possible scale! She had gone from working as a producer at the Nine Network in Melbourne, Australia, to starting her own television production company, Prime Time Productions, in 1994. And after ten years of creating internationally successful shows such as 'The World's Greatest Commercials', 'Great Escapes', 'Marry Me', and 'Sensing Murder', Rhonda was ready for something new. She wanted to take Prime Time Productions in a different direction; in a direction that fulfilled people rather than just entertained them. And on that spring day in 2004, when a small, old book called The Science of Getting Rich was put into her hands, and Rhonda's whole life suddenly pulled into spectacular focus, she knew exactly what her mission was to become. She was going to take this knowledge to the world. She was going to make a movie to carry joy to every corner of the Earth. And so the great journey that was The Secret began. Rhonda Byrne is an excellent example of a change agent in my mind. Richard Gere is a well known Buddhist and an active supporter of the Dalai Lama. He has also been a persistent advocate for better human rights in Tibet, and was a co-founder of the Tibet House and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Campaign For Tibet. He also campaigns for ecological causes and for AIDS awareness, and has expressed his concern for AIDS problems in India. Because he strongly supports Tibetan Independence Movement, he is permanently banned from entering China. And last but certainly not least Jon Slavet. Jon was Co-CEO of Guru Worldwide Inc., a human capital management company backed by American Express. Jon's previous work includes executive positions at Wired and NPR. Jon serves on the Advisory Boards of several Bay Area organizations, and is an honors graduate of Dartmouth College. Obviously no stranger to success. Yet when the stress of success began to take it's toll on Jon Slavet, he realized that his life was out of balance. His newest venture was born out of this realization. He sought out the best information he could and founded The Balance Company. His mission is to help others to become aware of our priorities in life and to keep our life in balance, while successfully pursuing our dreams. The Balance Company is an excellent example of enlightened entrepreneurship, and Jon Slavet a change agent indeed. These four people have brought me joy with the messages from their heart. I appreciate their contribution to this world. I share what they value in life. And I admire the way that they live their lives. These are just four of the people whom I regard as change agents. I wanted to thank ~C for holding the space, and for Brian for beginning this discussion. In Joy and admiration, JoySeeker Laura |

The conscious entrepreneur I would like to share is my friend James Dakin, Founder and Creator of Teaching Freedom. James is truly inspired. Although based in England, his goal is to change the way children are taught around the world. Starting with a vision and burning desire, James has developed an organization that is positively impacting the lives of teacher and children. “James is a visionary. His work with teachers and schools will change the face of Education in the UK. He is also an inspirational speaker. If you are involved in education in any way - make contact with James.” Adrian Gilpin - CEO Institute of Human Development |

~Namaste~ It's easy! Simply choose to gift any crystal - and register your crystal gift at www.crystallinepeaceproject.org The registration process allows you to leave an online message of Peace, which can be accessed by the recipient, by going online and entering the specially generated crystalline code! The idea is that you register any crystal that you are giving as a gift ~ the registration process allows you to leave an online message of peace for the recipient of your crystal gift. Once registered, a unique Crystalline Code Number (CCN) will appear on screen. You simply label your crystal with a gift tag, being sure to include our URL and the Crystalline Code Number generated for your crystal. The recipient of your crystal then follows the instructions on the gift tag, which links to your online peace message. The website also features luminous resources for the many peace weavers and light workers among us. While on site, you can peruse an inspirational array articles, place a pin in the Peace Guestmap, browse the Crystal Guide (showcasing over fifty crystals), sign our guestbook, subscribe to newsletter updates, or send a beautiful FREE crystalline e-card. My dream is to take the project to the next level. To go live with a global launch. I am seeking collaborators to assist in developing a unique, interactive, marketing campaign. Fuelled by a vision, my dream is to contribute to the incredible leap in consciousness, that we as human beings are experiencing NOW!!! My vision kind of transcends the traditional model of entrepreneurship, which I feel is firmly anchored within the experience that we relate to as physical. The focus here is upon consciously amplifying our innate ability as co-creators, with the intent to actualize a global wave of peace. The crystalline message is that we are now experiencing ever greater spheres of Light, which inspire us to tap into the infinite wellspring of abundance within and around us. Hi! My name is Rachel. I don't normally give shout-outs to institutions, but I think that the people who go to the School for International Training (my grad school) are change agents. Everyone here at this school has some kind of desire to help humanity. For example, the majors are Conflict Transformation, Social Justice, Sustainable Development, International Education, and more. There is also a teaching program for people looking for an experiential learning experience. I honestly don't work for this school, but I have to say that this is the most amazing place I've ever been to. The people here have tremendous spirit and a desire to change their corner of the world, wherever that may be. Personally, I'm doing the Master's International program, which combines my Social Justice major here with the Peace Corps! If you are looking for a graduate program that feels like a big family ready to open its arms to the world, then you should come here to www.sit.edu ! Also check out the classic change agent at www.peacecorps.gov . We emphasize changing ourselves before changing the world. *warm fuzzy feeling* |

If you are an entrepreneur, you'll know the energy and risk and personal sacrifice and joy of starting a socially responsible venture, and you'll know where I've been this last year getting United Holistic Practitioners off the ground. The answer to our nation's healthcare crisis is getting mainstream consumers to demand integrated healthcare from doctors, insurance companies, elected officials and more. To do that, we have to provide the resource that will help mainstreamers understand why they must demand it. Do you think there should be an integrated health answer to WebMD? So do we, and we've already begun. Although we have a wealth of talent working on this $100,000 project, it would be a mistake to not include your voice, as an integrated health practitioner, in the process. This website must serve your needs as well as consumer needs - so before we launch a finished website to the nation, we are reaching out to you and your colleagues for your feedback. You are cordially invited to register your holistic practice in the online directory AT NO COST for six months. You may include:
Simply go to our prototype, http://www.unitedhpa.org/, and scroll down slightly to sign up for our enewsletter on the left of the home page (so I can generate questions for your feedback as to the look and feel of the site and the directory. What is working, what is not working, what modalities are missing, etc.). Then go back up the page to click the Register link near the login area, and put your practice information in the directory. You must be signed up for the enewsletter in order to be listed in the directory. None of this costs you a single penny. The prototype of our new website is live and already getting over 100,000 hits a month since May even though the site is not yet complete. We had a 60% increase in unique site visits in June over May, so registration in the directory is going to give you additional exposure to your practice. If you would like to have a banner ad on the website, we are offering them for as little as $100 for six months if it is in .jpg format and ONLY in response to this email. To see our normal prices and the ads already sold, please visit http://www.unitedhpa.org/store.php?pageId=2. Our goal is to appeal to the mainstream consumer and become a strong, national integrated health resource like WebMD is for allopathic medicine. The unique database shell has been constructed to help mainstreamers drill down from a condition to their holistic options to a local service provider, something not offered by WebMD. We are in process of entering the data into that database. This is a huge endeavor that takes huge amounts of time and money to complete - but we are already almost there. Soon the website will have video streaming for testimonials, and a private forum for practitioners to discuss and refer client condition concerns with each other nationally 24/7 - an important resource in our ever-changing field. We anticipate launching the completed site nationally by the New Year. You don't have to pay for any of it. Simply register in the directory AND sign up for our enewsletter, so I can contact you with questions about the site on a group basis (the enewsletters are broken down by time zone). Please forward this email to all the holistic practitioners in every modality that you know. There is room in the directory for several thousand practitioners nationwide - and it is very important to show consumers how prevalent and accessible integrated health really is, so the bigger the directory, the stronger the message that integrated health is a viable and important option for everyone. Again, if you would like to have a banner ad on the website for as little as $100 for six months, simply drop me an email expressing your interest and we'll go from there. You cannot get an ad in any media, much less online, for that price anywhere else, and given our audience is your target, this is a wonderful opportunity and I encourage you to take it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Be well, be wise, be ready, Norreida |
