deleting old friends statuses (statusi?)

Hi,

I notice I have some 11,000 friends statuses and I don't see a way to delete them…..to free up a teensy bit of space on the servers…..?

Yep, that's right, there's no way to delete them.  You can only delete your own.  The developers will consider whether or not the option would benefit the servers and make decisions accordingly.  But looking at it, the status list doesn't seem to be hitting the servers much at this point.
