New blog images embedding

Trying to use the new option in the toolbar, upload from my hard drive, My Pictures folder. Cool option. Not working. I get a box with the name of the photo in it, not the photo. It's a small jpeg photo. Tried with several photos.

IE7. MS XP Professional — 2003 I think.
 
Can always go back to copy-paste the photo in, right?? haven't checked that yet.

Nope, still not working (unless you see a picture above the text here: http://thatgal.gaia.com/blog, my browser only shows a box with the caption in it). Uploading from the Gaia album worked fine but I don't want to put all pictures I upload in blogs into my albums so I tried to upload “An Odd Couple” from my harddrive. And btw, I used Firefox 3.5.1, not IE7.

Any other way I can upload pics from my harddrive (I remember I used the copy paste option when I first embedded pictures but I gave up on it - it never worked the way I wanted it, I couldn't place where I wanted them or adjust the size…)?

I see photos in “breathe in breathe out” but not “an add couple”.  Perhaps it is the pic itself that is not cooperating…

Excuse me but the picture is not cooperating???? No!!! It's a Gaia glitch. You see pics in Breathe In Breathe Out (and hopefully also below An Odd Couple) because I uploaded them in my Gaia album (where I don't actually want them!!!) before embedding them. The picture “An Odd Couple” however I tried to uplaod directly from my harddrive (because like the others I didn't want to put it in the Gaia album). And I tried several times, too.
