Lost mails or meerly unanswered

Hello helpful fellow gaians, today I sent three mails to friends, with whom I communicate regularly, each containing a request for action and I've had no replies. Is there anyway of knowing if my outgoing mails reached their destinations? I am wondering if the mails are lost or (surprisingly) unanswered.

Just go to http://mail.gaia.com/sent

If you see your messages in there, then they've reached their destination!
