Yes, we are aware of this problem. Hopefully, we'll be able to get to it very soon! In the meantime, that "individually" work-around that you mentioned is the only band-aid solution I know if at this time.

Notifications - Daily Digest

There are a couple groups I belong to where my settings are to receive notifications of group activity as a "daily digest," and that's not happening -- I'm not getting anything. Specifically, for the group Integral Post-metaphysical Spirituality, the last daily digest notification I got was October 17th. I've tried playing with the notifications to set it to "individually," and that seems to work, but when I set it back to "daily digest," it doesn't work. Since then, I also put my Gaia Support notifications setting to "daily digest," and that hasn't worked, either.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Matthew, is your magic wand working on it? Or is your crystal ball aware of it? :-)

For some unknown reason, using IE8, can't post on several grapevine's today, including Matthew's- what's up? or should my question be "what's down?"

Hi Tai,

On your Firefox toolbar, try going to view > zoom > reset.

Or...

If on a mac, try command + 0.

If on a PC, try control + 0.

Let me know if that doesn't work!

Hi Matthew
Just checking if anyone else is having this problem with Firefox - my profile page is all squashed into the center of the screen - it's really small so I can't access it - had the problem now for a few days, so I've been using explorer. Explorer now is losing connection pretty regularly and cutting off just when I'm posting.

Any handy hints on how to cure this will be much appreciated...

Yes, I was pasting from outside.
Yes, no rich text option.
I made a plain text copy and pasted that but the system went dead - just stopped as has happened before. This was on FF.
Next I tried again on Safari and got the YIKES! no can do bleat!
I will try again some other time. Meanwhile I have set up a copy as I want it in my journal for reading and/or copying.

Mathew, I found out : IE version 6.0.2900.2180
it was an office computer - perhaps the site was blocked?

In any case the person was able to join Gaia after all [yay!] from another computer; but I hope that others don't have this problem.

Hi Ian,

Are you pasting text into the room description? In room descriptions, there's not a lot of formatting that can be done. But if you paste from a plain-text editor or just type everything in, it should look ok. If you're pasting from a rich-text editor, then it may cause issues. But you should be able to delete the text and re-paste from a plain-text editor.

Matt, I have deleted the replacement group and created a new one. This new one is okay except that the text of the room description for MEDITATION FOCUS - THE PROCEDURE still cannot be formatted properly.

Matt, I have managed to set up the room via Firefox but the format of the text gets lumped into one seemless text which it is not possible to edit because there is no edit function - no good, particularly because it is a step by step procedure I wish to display!
Perhaps the devs can/should do something about this latter matter?
