Also, you can find the version number of IE by going to File > About. It should be 7.something or 8.something.

CAN'T START NEW THREADs ????
Help Needed- can;t post a new thread -so am using this one in the hope i will be seen!
Every time I try to start a new thread -be it on my pods- or even
here -Internet Explorer comes up telling me I have encountered a problem
and shuts down the page?
Please help -and don't tell me to change as I am happy with IE
everywhere else!!

Either things have been superquiet the past couple of days or my other notifications are drying up too.I've gotten a few but not many.

Last Group Notif. continues to be October 17. A long time ago. I see Tely is having the same problem, posted in another thread.

What's happening ~Matthew? This is a realllllly serious glitch !!!!!

Yes, we are aware of this problem. Hopefully, we'll be able to get to it very soon! In the meantime, that "individually" work-around that you mentioned is the only band-aid solution I know if at this time.

Notifications - Daily Digest

There are a couple groups I belong to where my settings are to receive notifications of group activity as a "daily digest," and that's not happening -- I'm not getting anything. Specifically, for the group Integral Post-metaphysical Spirituality, the last daily digest notification I got was October 17th. I've tried playing with the notifications to set it to "individually," and that seems to work, but when I set it back to "daily digest," it doesn't work. Since then, I also put my Gaia Support notifications setting to "daily digest," and that hasn't worked, either.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Matthew, is your magic wand working on it? Or is your crystal ball aware of it? :-)

Hello Support,

I have been waiting until it seemed an opportune time to address what I see as a SERIOUS issue with groups here on Gaia.com. Look at:

It contains a general celebration around a Gaian whose presence was missed. Starting April 17, I soon posted a comment in support of the member. One of the moderators of the group took exception with the content of the post and deleted it, explaining the matter to me privately. Ok, got the message, end of story.

However, my deleted comment created a situation where I was notified when each successive comment was made. Former friends' messages, both blocked and unblocked, were sent to my Gmail Inbox. Clearly not a good situation for anyone.

Suggestion: When a comment is deleted (either by the person who posted or a mod) -and- the poster has notifications turned on for successive posts, the deleted comment should disqualify notifications from the point of deletion. Otherwise, people (as I was for quite a while) get triggered and other people (former friends) have their privacy violated by getting messages sent to an unintended recipient, someone they've chosen not to communicate with any longer.

Any thoughts or questions? Please correspond with me. :-)

understanding this is being looked into, taken care of. Just to say, i just saw on a help forum that another person isn't getting group updates from some other group, either. Non-Gaia. But gmail isn't very accessible, is it? Appears to be nobody home.

can't wait for the new server! great work, great sweat, creativity, dedication and know-how, here. THANKS ;-)
