thankyo u-would appreciate that very much.
I tested it too, and I stayed signed in -and I don't want that happening!
I found it a bit annoying before -having to re-sign in so often -
but it was much better, security wise -and I don't like the thought
of being signed in when I am not there -at all!

Test. Turned off computer. My profile page is home page when launching IE7. When computer turned back on, and profile page came up, I was still logged on. I SEEM to recall in the past that when it came on after computer was turned off, it came on with me as visitor, and I had to log in.

Just my hazy recollection, ~Matthew, but I have noticed the same thing, and I think it even survived my turning off my computer. Seems the only way to log out is to log out.

But I have not tested this. But something is DIFFERENT because before I DID get logged out when I closed my browser, consistently. It's not that I never noticed before, something actually has changed, as near as I can tell.

Hi Sandy,

thanks for voicing your concern.

What I think happened is that when you opened IE, your cache hadn't refreshed yet, so you were still signed in. Had you waited a bit longer (and you may want to test this), I think you may have had to re-sign in... that is IF you don't click the "remember me" check box.

Bit strange? Had just written a post about how I seemed to
have got "un-glitched" by the transition -as i had a bit of a backlog of mail
in my Yahoo address -when I got "glitched" and lost the post!

Decided to close Internet Explorer and start again -and when I got into
Gaia again -I didn't have to sign back in ???
That is a concern -and hasn't happened to me before?
I don't like to think I am still signed in when I am not there!!!

Good morning! I came online today to discovered that all of my friends and pods, etc. have completely disappeared. I have Gaia Plus.

I don't use Firefox (Foxfire?) I use Windows XP and I don't know what version it is. I'll check ...

I'm moving (in reality) today ... so I'll be offline for a day or 2. I sure hope you are able to help me out! Thanks in advance!
