Hello Zaadzsters, We hope that you're all doing well. We're posting this announcement to let you know that there's a persistent malicious spammer/scammer who keeps on returning to our site (see sample spam message below). Don't worry, everything is under control. We've been dealing with this in the background. We do our best to quickly deactivate spammers and scammers to maintain the integrity of our site. Thanks for using that Report Spam button! However, we could always use all the help we can get. So we ask you to please be mindful of all the messages you receive, especially the messages you respond to. And we can't stress this enough: Never give out any personal information unless you are sure that you can trust the other person. But the million dollar question is, “How can we be sure that the other person is trustworthy?” There is no full proof answer to this question, especially since our interaction is limited online. So it's up to our own intuition, experience, and common sense to make a judgment on someone's trustworthiness. Having said that, below are some general guidelines for evaluating the trustworthiness of other members on the site: – Check their profile. Did they fill out everything? Did they provide enough information about themselves? Do you share similar interests? How long have they've been a member on the site? How many friends do they have? – Check their photo album. What kind of images have they posted on the site? Are they transparent enough in posting their own photos? Are they consistent with the images that they post? – Check their blogs. This doesn't mean that members are required to post on their blogs. However, in general, members who consistently use their blogs are the ones who are more transparent. It's easier for us to evaluate their thoughts and intentions if they have been out there blogging their hearts out. – Check their postings such as comments and pod discussions. How do they carry conversations? Do you resonate with their tone? Do they sound authentic and sincere? – Check the messages you receive from them. If they are asking for money or private information (e.g. address, email, full name, etc.), or giving you their own private contact info the first few times they send a message to you, beware! Most probably, they are spammers/scammers. So don't hesitate to use that Report Spam button! Remember: When in doubt, please contact the Zaadz Support Team. If you receive any message similar to this, then please don't respond to this email. Just hit the Report Spam button on your Zaadz inbox and we'll deal with it. —————– Hello my dear friend, My name is William Simon I am impressed with the level of clean spiritedness poeple show in this Zaadz site, this is why Iam hoping to get someone who I can trust over here, as I have been searching for fewdays now and i am skeptical of whom to chose, though i am left with little choice, as this site is the nearest to the place i can get good person.and my health condition is critical. I have got some friends here who wanted me to involve them in this quest, but their motive is mostly selfish based other than to render service to humanity, which is contrary to my dream and objectives. I have been strugling painfully with cancer ( Esophageal ), which has left me battling from different specialist hospitals all around the globe, as it has defied all forms of medical treatment, and the doctors has pronounced that my days are very few and i am so dijected right now. I was very busy chassing the wealth of this world and never have been kind to poeple , nor do i know what it meant to be generous then. Now that god has called me, I have willed and given most of my property and assets to my immediate and extended friends and those who have helped me recently. I want god to be merciful to me and accept my soul so, I have decided to give alms to charity organizations, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some charity organizations in the Muscat, Liberia and Malaysia. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this myself anymore. I once asked my relatives and friends to close some of my accounts and distribute the money which I have there to charity organization in Indonesia and Pakistan, they refused and diverted the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contended with what I have left for them. The remaining of my money which no one knows of is the cash deposit of eighteen million dollars 18,000,000 that I have with a finance/Security Company abroad. I need you to manage and distribute $5M to Charity under your supervision, while I entrust another $5M to another person whom you may recomend or I may source for and the remaining $8M you will use to set up a charity home. I was very busy chasing the wealth of this world and never have been kind to people , nor do i know what it meant to be generous then, I have been an oil merchant and dealer in precious stones and this was the only fascination I knew in life. I believe when god gives me a second chance to come to this world I would live my life a different way from how I have lived it. Now that god has called me, I have given most of my property and assets to organizations around me. I want god to be merciful to me and accept my soul so, I have decided to give alms to charity organizations, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. I am seeking reliable partners who can undertake the task of been trusted with my entire life resources to help mankind , the criteria for the selection process involved in this will be based on evident fact that you have a kind heart. You will have the responsibility of setting up charity home school in memory of my names, and you will set up school in the deprived neighborhood where you will help to educate the less previledged, and much more . Hi C4. I just wanted to thank you for affirming the process I go through when people contact me period. I do check out their profile, blog, photos, etc. and have often wondered if I am too paranoid (You're not paranoid if someone really is following you (or something like that) - paraphrasing Woody Allen.). You made me feel like I am just being a conscientious zCitizen. Thx. Mary |
