Group Activity Feature Doesn't Work

Hello dear support wizzards,

on Diving Deeper the Group Activity Feature seems to have gotten stuck. It doesn't show any activities anymore in the drop down menue on the group page, and when I go on “more…” and open the Activities page, there are none of the posts that have been posted after Yesterday, 9:04 AM, and there were quite a few.

Are there any major works going on that have disabled the Group Activity Feature that I'm not aware of? If so, sorry, I'm not aware of anything going on. If not, I hope it is something that will be easily fixed.

p.s. I just noticed the Room Activity Feature on this board doesn't work either… do I have a browser problem (how likely is that, a selective bug?) or is there something general happening right now with the Activity Features on Gaia?

Mine doesn't work either!  And I can't see any Friend's Activity on my page, either.  Or my own activity.  I have played around with activating and de-activating on the “settings” page but nothing seems to work.

Yup, it seems to be broken alright. When I clicked on Room activity for this thread, the last post it's showing is one of Matthew's 22 hours ago. Interesting!

Well, I guess we shall have to work around it until Monday when the wizards are back at work.

Yes, I had noticed the same thing. The “new” indicator on profile page still works, so the determined can still find new messages.
Isn't it funny how quickly we come to rely on these features?

No more to be said, really, I just wanted to check it had been reported…the sun is shining, I should be outside anyhow:-)

They are changing to bigger servers.  I talked to ~Matthew & it will be fixed soon.  I suggest to all of us that we post where you just posted on the group grapevine as a cope action till it gets healed.

Liz, funny indeed! I had such trouble getting used to the last changes on Gaia… meanwhile, especially the Group Activities feature has become my main device to keep track of what's going on. Things move fast in cyber space!

What “new” indicator on what profile page? I can't find such a feature on my personal profile page. Can you direct me there?

Hi Mascha,
Some of your groups are listed on your Profile Page [lower left bar]. If there's a new post, you'll see a reddish/orange “New” sign next to the group/s. You can also see all your groups through clicking on “My” below the Groups tab  on the left bar. There too, there'll be that bright New sign next to each group where a new post has been posted. Actually, I keep checking that page during the day - the best way to keep in touch with groups!

That new sign, mascha, where the list of groups shows, left hand side for me too.
I don't know if there are options as to how people set their pages up, I have whatever the default is

I found the “my” button under groups, but it brings up the exact same page that I get when clicking on “Groups” on my profile page. No orange “New” sign shows up for me either. But the latest posts in the groups I'm a member of are time-stamped, so it's easy to see who posted at what time.

Things must look different for Mac users in Firefox and Safari than for people on the IE, I guess.

Oh- yes; it'll be the same. Either way, it shows your groups.

Ah! Possible. I use FF with PC.

Hey all, thanks for reporting this bug!  I believe this one is probably not being caused by the switch in servers, so I'll make sure the devs address this as soon as possible.  I wouldn't want you to go without the tools you've come to rely on, for long!
