So, some friends and I recently created a non-profit organization to advocate for youth engagement in schools, government, and communities.
We've doing this work for the past year as a volunteer committee of a different organization, but we felt that this work is so huge that it needs to be a stand-alone endeavor with its own dedicated staff. I mean, we want to create a culture of active and meaningful youth participation in education and civic life - no small feat.
So, any thoughts? We're very early in our organizational development, and any advice + input would be much appreciated! I could get more specific aboutt our vision and potential role, but I thought I'd just give a brief, open-ended intro…
