Happy Monday!

Here is a reprint of something on Scott Fifer's blog today. (For more posts about this project, see also the thread "We Can Help With This Project!")

------

05.08.2006

I have a favor to ask of you!

You can help me build an orphanage in Africa, and best of all, it won't cost you a penny!
Instead of Google or whatever search engine you normally use, please switch to Goodsearch (http://www.goodsearch.com/) and type in TunaHAKI Foundation as the name of the charity you support.
From then on, every time you search the internet using Goodsearch, Goodsearch will donate a penny to our charity. I have a crazy and unrealistic goal of getting 35 million searches within the next year - that will get us 35 million pennies - $350,000 - enough to build a shelter for street kids and orphans in the Kilmanjaro region of Tanzania.
Please use Goodsearch and ask your friends to do the same! (You only have to enter TunaHAKI Foundation the first time you use Goodsearch. After that, your computer should remember, unless you erase your cookies, in which case you might have to re-enter it. Thanks!)

--

Here's what I do, since I am searching the Internet practically all day at work. I've made Goodsearch my home page so that I don't accidentally use my Google toolbar. Then I use Goodsearch each and every time I have to search for something. If I find I need some of the features Google has (like the image search, or the site search, etc.) I go back and use Google after using Goodsearch. It really doesn't take me any real extra time. I hope it's helping.
