Working For Change

Diane [no longer around] said Apr 1, 2006, 8:09 AM:

Attention GenZaadsters!! When I proposed the GenZaadz pod, this project is what I had in mind. I hope you are as excited about this project as I am. Here's the low-down (reprinted from Brian's blog):

Working for Good is all about “liberating the entrepeneurial spirit for good”… Essentially merging spirituality and capitalism to create enlightened entrepreneurs who are out there changing the world.

Our first project is this May when we'll be webcasting a series of four sessions to high school students (and others) around the world. I wrote an article for the program called “Areté and the Entrepreneur,” we're hosting the site and will be providing Zaadz community tools to support the project.

For now, go and read the rest of Brian's blog post about this project. What can GenZaadzsters do to promote this?

Working For Good has a pod now! Check them out!

Also, see the updated webpage. Exciting things are happening there.

One of those things is a business plan contest. The purpose is

“To inspire and catalyze action consistent with the intention of Working for Good, and to support students to expand their perspective on what they are capable of achieving through entrepreneurial initiative and on the role of business in society.”

Check out the business plan contest webpage to get the details. The deadline is September 1st!
