I came home from work and was surprised to find movers preparing to move out Martha's furniture. Martha was not present. I sent the movers on their way without the furniture and changed the lock on my door. Speaking through the closed door, Martha's lawyer told me she was divorcing me and she wanted her furniture.

Consciousness

inlink said Feb 20, 2007, 9:18 AM:

Here are my thoughts on our mission. The Bible tells us we are made in our image (Gen.1:26), and that we have dominion over all other life. That being the case, why do we have the idea that man is disobedient? If we were created to reason, why don't we encourage people to ask questions? My parents repeatedly told me I asked too many questions. When I was disobedient, my father told me that God gave man everything he needed, yet man was disobedient. He followed with this: I selfishly took all the good that man created for me for granted and asked for more. He slapped a guilt trip on me.

The God-like thing about us is that we know good and evil (Gen. 3:15). In the Bible, from cover to cover, you find a story of man's iniquities, and of a just authority somewhere, I know not where. It is all so nebulous and contradictory that you are told you must have blind, mindless faith, and repeat the doctrine over and over and over. If you are true to your religious faith, you can't use your natural gift of reason. I asked my Christian minister if my Jewish mother was going to hell. He referred me to the Bible and his interpretation. She was going to hell. Millions of Americans have undying faith that my mother now suffers eternal damnation. We've a 5,000 year-old record in the Bible, of word of mouth handed down, and in 5,000 years we've not changed at all! What does that say?

In Revelations, we are informed of the self-fulfilling prophecy of the “mark of the beast,” “the end times,” and the “Battle of Armageddon.” In Revelations 6:15 and16, “Behold I come as a thief, Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and made aprons of fig leaves to hide their shame. When I was a teenager, I was told by Christian authority that if I even thought about sex it was a mortal sin. There was no way I could be obedient to “God's law.” I questioned why God would give me reason, the urge to procreate, and at the same time condemn it. I was taught that sex was evil. When we look within for answers, we learn that sex is wonderful, and that the human body is beautiful, not shameful. Both secular and religious authority uses the guilt trip ploy to control us. If we were taught the truth about sex there wouldn't be sexual guilt and perversion.

As for the politically proper secular consciousness manipulators in America, who teach that Islam is a religion of peace, we take note that the majority of the American people have swallowed the bait hook, line, and sinker. The truth manipulators follow the religion of peace idea with the idea that peace will return in the Mideast when the United States gets out. I heard Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi say exactly that. Overwhelmingly, the American people want out of Iraq. The Mideast is waiting for us to get out. When we get out-and we will before the 2008 election-the political manipulators will say it is because their opposition got in the way of the peace process when Israel gets wiped out, along with an American city or two. It is always the opposition at fault for everything that goes wrong. Behind it all is control freaks. I know them well. My first wife was one. It got her a divorce. She never found another husband. Until you have a mate you can love and be loved you are not whole. Control freaks are people who have never learned the art of living. My advice: be consciously aware that your consciousness is boundless.

Are you aware that the founder of the world's most intolerant religion, Islam, was the control freak, Mohammad? Are you aware that the origin of today's violent jihad ideology came from Mohammad? This is his most lasting legacy. Are you prepared for the choice of a Battle of Armageddon, or accommodate, accommodate, and accommodate, the idea of the politically correct, until Islam controls the world?

I have a different idea. It is neither choice. Before anything, there was consciousness. Came the “big bang” 15 billion years ago. Then there was atoms, expanding atoms, and subatomic particles, and forces, movement, and energy. The elements came together to form heavenly bodies, Earth being one, and a very special body in an otherwise hostile-to-life universe. If we are conscious of all of this, we can't say Earth is an accident. If we're unconscious, we look at a tree and see a tree. If we are aware that we exist in a state of consciousness, we know that it is consciousness that makes it all come together.

I have a story to tell. My cousin was a Presbyterian missionary in what was the Belgium Congo. He traveled up jungle rivers to bring Christianity's message to primitive villages. He was on a return visit when the church elders of a primitive village came to him with a problem. An old woman would not give up the tree in front of her hut, where she claimed God lived. They cut her tree down and the woman died of a broken heart. The church elders were not conscious of how the old woman saw her tree. The tree was alive. In that respect , she and the tree shared life. Consciousness isn't in a place. It is everywhere-in me, in you, and everyone else.

When you accept a religion that denies God to other folks, you are being politically manipulated, and the same applies to political correctness. In the vacuum control freaks of all stripes with power leave us, the U.S. Supreme Court, with its Preferred Freedoms concept, has done a tap dance around its authority. Anytime legislation on its face abridges a “preferred freedom” the assumption, according the current Court, is unconstitutionality. The burden is on the government to prove its case. It would have to show that the legislation was the proper remedy for the eradication of an immediate evil. The taxes we pay are for the eradication of the Court's determination of an immediate evil. Taxpayers don't get the same consideration. The law states that the taxpayer has the burden to prove that an IRS assessment and forceful collection was unconstitutional. The last case was heard in 1946.

The untold story is that millions of taxpayers are being taxed into poverty, and even homelessness, in order to fulfill the Supreme Court demand. Would-be taxpayers are not encouraged to work. Political manipulators working hand in glove with the Supreme Court encourage entry level workers to become government dependents. Were the American people consciously aware of the preferred freedom concept, they would recall that the U.S. Supreme Court held escaped slave Dred Scott, because he was black, to be the property of a white man, the same as a mule or a cow. Now the Court holds taxpayers to be the same as Dred Scott, the property of the United States. I quote Justice Brandeis: “property (the taxpayer's property) is only a means. It has been the frequent error of our Court that they have made the means the end.”

The taxpayer is the means to the government's end, whatever it happens to be. What are we when we accept a religion in blind faith but a means to an unholy end? While others cling to the status quo, what are we members of Zaadz? We must look within for our answers. Otherwise, those we grant the power, along with their mindless following, will rob us of our energy to change the world.
