This will be a fav of mine. I love sharing recipes and helpful hints regarding cooking. I am a veggie, nearly a vegan. I just can't give up my kiefir and some yummy Italian cheeses just yet.

 Go for it……..

G’day my dearest beings who honor the Divine Feminine in each of us….

I am in the midst of moving….again….I am working heavily on abundance from NOW on as I simply can’t handle any more house moves. Next move will be into my own nest, ahhhhhhh, yes….I can see it, and taste it, and touch it….and revel in the idea of placing my precious bibs and bobs once more for many moons to come…and hammering and screwing into walls, with no worries about rental deposits, and splashing paint colors that vibrate with me, on every wall, instead of the endless white and off white of rentals.

I digress…..I was attracted to this way-to-small-for-all-my-stuff cottage ‘cause it had a yard, an overgrown, dead, weedy dustbowl, none the less, a yard to grow faerie flowers and food. I am changing it, with the help of Mother Nature and her magic, into a miniature Goddess Lotus Garden, complete with a small, organic veggie garden. I wrestled with a mass of dead Morning Glory vines that must have entangled itself for decades over the front fence. I pulled at ferns that were more like medieval weapons, unwillingly to let go of their drip on the dried, cracked earth, so fine, beautiful and rich green, yet deadly, as they are covered in long, pointy thorns. My legs are a mass of bloody scratches from my duel with these unfriendly invaders.

I was looking at buying a composter to recycle my veggie peels, etc. Chatting with my wondrous, goddess daughter one evening on the phone about this she suggested I look into a worm compost. As repugnant, yes I am somewhat turned off by most creepy crawlies, as the thought of sharing my home with a few pounds of wriggly worms is, I started my research on the web. I have decided to give it a try. I have just about made my choice of a compost receptacle, and now I need to do the math to know how many worms I will need.

I have to laugh. As much as I would love a furry, four footed companion to share my life and love, I have not done so as I am out of my home so much. Now I am going to have to find a worm minder if I leave for any length of time. Unbelievable.

I wonder if they chew loudly, lolololol. The bottom line is that I get to recycle more of my house waste, and the “worm tea” (charming eh?) and what is left in the tray is supposed to be awesome fertilizer for the earth.

Will let you know how it turns out and whether I can handle sharing my life with a clump of wriggly ones. YUCK….

Greetings Goddess

I'm a veg also.  Cheese is my biggest weakness.  I tried to cut it out of my diet and I swear I went through withdrawal.  I finally fell off the wagon when I found Parmisano Reggiano on sale and I just could not resist.   Good luck with your new home.  May it bless you by surrounding you with those you love, peace and joy.

Blessed be

I have to laugh, Goddess. I too dive into Parmisan cheese, passionately and without remorse. I love buying it by the wedge and even gnaw at the cloth backing. Hahahaha, a terrible trait I picked up on my first tour of Italy, a million years ago.

Have gotten order in my newly created garden now. Spent a couple of weeks hacking at dead vines, masses of dead weeds, and tore down a termite eaten retainer fence (it’s OK, there is concrete behind it, lolol). Now I see green shoots pushing through this once unloved patch of earth. There is such magic in Mother Nature. I am always in awe of her blessings. I have visitors now, butterflies and feathered friends.

Have not had much time to move in as I have had one job after another house/doggie/fishy sitting since I got into my new nest. I get to “go home” on Monday. Then the sparks will fly.

As long as my garden is pulsing and living all is well with me. I did put up a 7’ x 7’ outdoor shed. Ohhhhhh myyyyyy, what a tadoooooooooooooo that was. Those Rubbermaid sheds DO NOT go up with any ease or joy unless the ground is as flat and even as a still pond, that is unless you have a determined Bliss Faerie with the mental and physical strength of a bison, and a hammer - laughing. Now I have an art studio to spread out in and go crazy with my mask making, jewelry making, painting, creating, whatever flows from me….that is as soon as I move in!!!!!!!

Thank you for your heartfelt wishes, Goddess.

Well I'm glad to know that i'm not the only vegi out there that had trouble giving up cheese. It's scary how addicting it is. I'm so glad for this area as I love to share recipies. I love to cook and my partner loves to eat my cooking. We're like a match made in heaven. :)
