Welcome!

You are absolutely right when you say there's something still lurking here. I'm here! In and out with the daily demands of life, but I'm still checking in.

Please make yourself at home and feel free to share your wisdom.

Anna

      Hmm... so quiet here...

I feel you all still lurking in the shadows, having become concerned with other areas of your life. And so - I will introduce myself anyway.

; - )

Profile information is readily available, so I will stick to more pertinent topics here.

I have been practicing / teaching for about 15 years now. My practice is primarily Wicca based (though to define this as "my practice" would be extremely inadequate) I run and earth spirituality group in my area, and am currently teaching a "year and a day" class. That focuses wisdoms both from the earth and from a wide range of religious sources, and teaches various ritual structures that can be used to connect with Spirit in a personal and intimate way. I also organize an eco-friendly festival that teaches people how to take care of the earth (and each other!) and makes it easy at the same time. I mention this ony because it was a task She gave to me. At the time She spoke to me about it I had no idea how I would accomplish the work, but as always, I had nothing to worry about. She helped put pieces together, and I have been pleased to watch the Sacred aspect in the festival growing over the years (we open with a drum circle, had a meditation group show up this year to teach people how to connect with and appreciate the earth through meditation, and we did mulit-cultural "Dances for Universal Peace" this year as well - a collection of sacred sounds, songs, and circle dances from MANY world religions. I have been so thrilled to see how She is creating the space of the festival as a way to teach people to connect with her in a 'socially acceptable' kind of way - without religious stigma, and allowing them to find they enjoy it. The Goddess at work is an awesome thing.

Currently I am working on studying Native American spirituality. Some of this has actualy drawn me into Mayan practice as well, and the ancient rituals of the Yucatan, not to mention new growth in my understanding of the Mysteries of individual and collective womanhood.

I grow many herbs in my gardens for medicinal, magickal (and flavorful!) use, so if anyone want's to discuss that, I'm in. I also really enjoy crystals, numerology, astrology, and well, everything I guess - I suppose I'm easy to please and excited about life! Lol. I also just started working with the Tarot more seriously than I have before, having previously preferred runes or coffee-ground reading. So I am of course very open to discussing those things as well.

I can't help but think that something is stirring here :)

Talk to you soon!

Mercale
