I've watched both What the Bleep Do We Know? and What the Bleep Do We Know: Down the Rabbit Hole. They are enlightening in that the power of thought creates our reality. What we believe manifests. Everything has energy. So what we express to water is also important. I believe this is Dr. Emoto's main message to us. If we are mostly made up of water, than we have a great relationship to water–not just for survival but we have a responsibility to share in the goodness of water's existence.
For medical reasons, I must drink a tremendous amount of water to keep my kidneys functioning properly. Since being introduced to Dr. Emoto's work, I am far more aware of my relationship to water. Water supports me in many ways. I love soaking in a warm bathtub. Of course, a hot tub is even better; the bubbles are incredibly invigorating! And the ocean is one of my favorite natural settings. I've been to the beach a couple of times each year since I was six months old. There's nothing like a day at the beach to clear my head. So water sustains me and I must be grateful for it's healing properties. Spring water is my drink of choice and with each bottle I wrap my hands around it, thanking it for it's nourishment. I tell the water I drink that it is “love” and “beauty”. This practice not only centers me, it actually changes the taste of the water and hydrates me more fully.
No doubt, we have a responsibility to keep our waterways clean and we must not waste water either. If water is to sustain us, then we must take care of it. Our messages to water and prayers for its cleansing truly make a difference. I recommend reading any and all of Dr. Emoto's books. Read his water studies, look at pictures of his beautiful water crystals and see for yourself.
