Today I appreciate being able to be strong for my 12 year old son while he was upset about his older brother leaving home for University far away.

Yesterday I appreciated  holding in my tears as I helped to move my son to a University many miles away from home. I am grateful that I was able to be smiling & happy for him as we experienced the excitement of all the newness the day held. 

Today I appreciate taking a day off from life outside my home so I can  both allow myself to feel & also to work upon 'letting go' of my sadness, loneliness & worries I have for him. I will be using EFT techniques & affirmations.

I feel like Im letting my soul mate go for his greater good…may seem overly dramatic but we have been very close…we share the same quirky sense of humour where we just 'get ' eachother in ways others do not, we love the same music & films, we had that rare kind of fluid energy between us so that we could occupy the same space in blissful silence yet togetherness.
 
My son has been my major adult company for the last 5 years after my partner left when he found himself unable to cope with my ill health. I appreciate the time has come for both my son & I to spread our wings & move on to new things. I deeply appreciate the healing love I have recieved from my son & now I choose to be strong for him as he steps into his new independent life.

I appreciate having found this space to express deep feelings such as these. I feel safe here. Thank you everyone.

I see how my independent nature & childhood survival skills have served me up to this point in my life & I bless them & thank them.
But I recognise that I must let them go, along with the false notion that I am separate, if I am to fully heal. I am working on opening my heart chakra & bringing into my consciousness the truth that we are all one.
