and the chain continues to grow, our last thread is overflowing, so here we go again……………

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Lars aka Fastdart today.

Thank you my friend, for helping to co-create this beautiful space that we call the gratitude chain.  You have been here to help to tend this garden since the first seed was planted and it has grown to be a beautiful place that nurtures souls.  Your presence is an embraced gift to me!

Thank you to each person who comes here, to also co-create this space by sharing thoughts of gratitude.  You are appreciated and a blessing to this space and all who come here.

I'm grateful for the level of comfort I have in my life right now. It's wonderful that I can trust being warm and being fed.

Today I'm grateful for all the little treasures we found while cleaning out our garage. We discovered my adorably written old homework assignments from the 2nd and 3rd grades, and these incredibly beautiful poems that my dad wrote a long time ago.  If you are curious, read our favorite poem right here. I had to post it because it's very full of gratitude, and very… well, very Gaian. :)

Since I'm going through a difficult time I am grateful for every little great thing that lightens up my day and is able to amaze me.

I'm grateful that my body seems to be shedding the flu I've had this weekend. I'm grateful it wasn't any worse than it was. I'm grateful to be able to be restful and to have a flexible work schedule so I can continue to be restful today. I'm grateful my love came over to be restful with me yesterday afternoon. The camaraderie was more comforting than I expected. I'm grateful to my dogs for containing their stircraziness at being unwalked for so many days. And I'm grateful for the engaging book that occupied me while remaining physically inert. I'm grateful to be back swinging along the gratitude chain. :-)

I am grateful at how well I'm doing in school, for my excited classes I'm taking now, and for all my kinds friends here on Gaia (and my off-line friends as well). I am grateful for the roof over my head, for the warmth of blankets, and that our world is filled with people eager to help others. :) And today I am very grateful for Gaia.

tonight i experienced a big gratitude slap in the face!  ouch! - there i was feeling sorry for myself because we have experienced changes that have effected our budget.  focused on fear, i found myself loosing sight of what really matters.

i will thank a fellow (or fellowette?) mom, for sharing her young son's diagnosis with me tonight.  i will thank God that I am well enough to pray for her and her son.  I will thank the medical professionals who will work really hard to fight his cancer,   and once more i am going to thank god, for opening my eyes and bringing me back to all that really matters.

ps.  have i told each of you what a gift you are to me lately? – if  i haven't, i am sorry, it that is overdue.  thank you for your presence and daily grounding!

I am so very very grateful (and I can hardly say this without getting tears in my eyes) for the love and  friendship my wonderful daughter and me share. And for the loyality and trust we have that helps us put up with each other on our gloomy days. (I mean we have our issues too (lol).
I am grateful that this never ceases to amaze me, it's like a present over and over again.

I am grateful for the fantastic walks I took today. First in Amsterdam along the water where the full moon was just coming up and looked huge still hanging low.

Later on when I got home I joined a full moon's walk with a group around the harbour and the park . The lake was all frozen, it was pure magic. So much beauty can only make you feel grateful.

i am grateful for the snowfall and the beauty that it brings.  i am grateful for the certain hush that come along with each storm.  i am grateful for the sparks in the fire, the way it heats our home and the smell of homemade (yes gluten free too) bread baking right now.

for some reason, this weekend was as relaxing as a whole vacation and for that, i am especially grateful!

I am grateful for the great holidays I had with my family, I'm grateful that I was able to stick to my new good eating habits even over christmas and am still exercising and feeling fit and healthy. I'm grateful to be able to ease back into my role as a stay at home mum. And I'm especially grateful for today as it is a great, happy day for my kids and I :D and I enjoyed the pictures posted here on this thread :D

I'm grateful for a company called Praxis that helps people start bookstores.

I'm grateful for my mother's knowledge of plants.

I am grateful for this chain where I can come and read so many posts of gratitude and get my joy back and the smile on my face that I've been missing as I sat stubbornly thinking, “Oh, poor me, I've got nothing to report on the gratitude chain today. I just won't go there.” I am grateful to be able to realize how very wrong I was. I am grateful to learn again to come here, even when I don't feel grateful, and be reminded of how much I DO have to be grateful for.

I am grateful for the joy I felt on Sunday night as I turned the corner toward my church and saw that beautiful full moon rising on the horizon. I am grateful that God reminded me then that I had missed it the night before when I had every intention of going out and looking at what the astronomers had promised would be the biggest full moon of 2009. I am grateful for the feeling I had that God had hung the moon just for me Sunday night so I could see it.

I am grateful that my brother really, truly enjoyed the birthday gifts I chose for him for his 64th birthday yesterday. I am grateful that those few little things brought him so much joy.

I am grateful that my friend came and helped me clean my house again on Monday.

I am grateful that my daughter-in-law gave me the opportunity to spend an hour and a half with all my grandchildren on Monday and we had such a wonderful time together. I am grateful that I will get to do it again today!

I'm grateful for Lynda's post for the first alinea I think is something we can all relate to once in a while.
I remember having a gratitude diary and commited myself to every day writing down 5 things I was grateful for. One morning, something happened that upset me and then when it came down to writing in my diary I couldn't think of anything because the upset had somehow dominated. Then it occurred to me that I actually had a very nice afternoon, meeting an old friend, going out for coffee, it was a wonderful day beautiful wheater etc.  Actually a lot of nice things had happened as well that day and I did enjoy them but somehow the thought of the upset had dominated.

Sooo I am grateful I have choices. Every moment again. Wow!

I am grateful for the lack of obligation I felt during my lunch break today. The light mood translated into getting a lot of chores done.

I'm grateful I had uninterrupted time to make headway on a dreaded work task. So nice to have most of the roughest stuff behind me.

I'm grateful it warmed up enough for me to jump on my bike with 15 mintues left on the lunch clock and take a spin around the block.

I'm grateful the dr bill that came in the mail is no bigger than it is. Phew!

I am grateful that my friend help me repair my bike. I am grateful that the weather lately has been beautiful and warm, and that I am surrounded by friends who care about me. I am also grateful that I get to finally see my sweetheart in less than a week now. (Haven't seen him since 2008.)

I am grateful for the sewing I got done yesterday and the fun I had designing and making Kaitlyn's octopus.

I am grateful that my granddaughter, Jocelyn, called me and asked me to drive her to her dance class next week. It is my first opportunity to do this and I am very grateful to be able to do it. I am grateful for the sweetness of Jocelyn's voice on the phone and that she said she loves me.

I am grateful for the time I spent with my grandchildren this week and that we painted together and played games together and just spent time together.

I am grateful that I will be picking my greatneice up from her daycare today to spend time with me too. I am grateful for the children in my life, for their sweetness and their joy. I am grateful to God for giving me this abundance of little ones in my maturity when I only had one of my own.

I had, what seemed like an average pleasant day today.  Stayed home, relaxed, not much special seemed happening…….and I was just going to express my gratitude for that here when….

Suddenly this Question arose in me, almost shooting out of me into the room:

Oops… am I ever GRATEFUL  for this question bringing me right here in an Awakening of.. YES!

EVERYTHING special happened today,   I look at the shere miracle of me just sitting here typing these letters, I am breathing, I am looking,I am being,  I am ..I am…..I  AM ! 
And I get to share it with you as well.

I am grateful for the joy of powerfully mundane moments, for the shining sun today, for still being very close with my parents despite living away from them, and that I can afford organic foods.

And I am the most grateful that, despite her Leukemia diagnosis 3 years ago, my grandmother is doing remarkably well and the doctor is worried for her at all anymore. :) I am SO grateful that her white blood cell count is fine, and for all the lunches and conversations we've shared since I moved here.

I am grateful for walks in spite of cold weather and for “accidentally” running into my fiance at just the right moment in town today. I'm grateful for the leisurely way we checked out some stores together. I'm grateful a music store has opened up here, selling instruments and providing lessons. I'm grateful the deep freeze is about to depart. I'm grateful for weekends that feel like weekends.

I'm grateful for all the like minded people here on gaia, for the everyday learning and growing experiences in life and for my cutey kids, it's always nice to hear “I love you mummy” and my partner too! Our little family is great, our home is great and we have an abundance of all our needs! I think I could go on forever today but I won't hehe, I'm very grateful for this pod and this thread :)

I am grateful for the joy that has returned to me today in such abundance! I had not slept well night before last and I felt out of sorts yesterday as a result. I slept well last night (for which I am grateful!) and I feel very blessed today.

I am grateful that my son and daughter-in-law chose to come to our church this morning and bring the children. I am grateful for their wonderful smiles and personalities and the joy we had in interacting with them.

I am grateful that my squirrel, Rocky, is almost completely recovered from his near death experience. He had been very ill for a while, but he seems to be close to 100% again now! I am grateful for the wonderful resilience of life.

I am grateful that I was able to let go of my daughter and my grand child….I know that they are ultimately in God's care, and, they will be okay….I'm sharing the pocket!!  After all, God did not wake up and want to be Missy today……I am grateful that I feel free of worry.

Today I am grateful for my spare time I have to exrcise and to sit at my computer to post on gaia with a tasty cup of tea :D. I'm grateful for the variety of foods I have in my home which gives me a broad choice for lunch and I can also go out for lunch! :D
I'm grateful to my partner who calls me from work everyday to check on the kids and I, I'm grateful for the health of my little family! Yay!

I'm grateful that my Internet connection has sped up enough tonight that I can finally get online and post some things. I am grateful that the problem has been corrected.

I am grateful that I got that stuffed octopus finished that I was making for Kaitlyn and that it's packed in a box to be shipped to her. Phew! It's always good to get rid of a project once it's more than a day old.

I am grateful I got the little Christmas tree in the guest room down today (yes, I know January is almost over.)

I'm grateful for improved and increased communications with my son.

I am grateful for a developing entertainment calendar for the coming year. I’m grateful for my fiance continuing to have most weekends off so we can make plans.

I’m grateful for the various things I read and people I’m exposed to who are providing me with materials and methods for changing my relationship with “reality.” I feel like I’m harnessing horses to the horizontal spokes of a heavy rusty wheel so their strength can be used to adjust it. So if you hear a great screeching, grinding and kachunking noise coming out of nowhere sometime, just know that it’s Jen finally getting things moving. ;-)

I’m grateful for the abundance in my life.

I am grateful that my sweetheart is flying up to spend the weekend with me, grateful for the squirrels and birds outside my window, and incredibly grateful that so many stores have donated fabulous items for the raffle and auction I’m organizing to benefit our local Sexual Abuse and Domestic VIolence Center. :) Our goal to to raise $5000 for them, and I think we can do it.

I am once again grateful that one of my dogs seems to be catching on to leash communication and what it is to take a relaxed walk. It makes our time out soooooo much more enjoyable.

I’m grateful for dog naps after walk time.

I’m grateful to share my home with two fabulous kitties.

I’m grateful for the time to get some yard work done yesterday. And for the coming mild weather that will allow me to get much more done.

I’m grateful for whoever invented smoothies. It’s the only thing I’ve come across that makes yogurt tolerable to me. And once you know the basics, the combinations are nearly endless.

I’m grateful for an aggressive massage therapist. She may yet work out all of the built up tension I have in one shoulder.

I am grateful for the wonderfully full and satisfying day I’ve had today: for holding my youngest and second-youngest grandsons on my lap, for seeing the sweet smiles of all my grandchildren, for knowing my mother is better today than the past 2 or 3 days, for seeing my dog happy and my squirrel happy. For the gentle touch of Rocky’s paws and fur on my arm. I am grateful for the bread and cookies we baked today. And for the sweet pleasure of talking to my great-niece on the phone. I am grateful and I am satisfied.

I am grateful for completing tasks yesterday that I’ve been procrastinating on. Even moreso those that represent a larger completion.

I’m grateful that this day will be largely free of chores and that my love and I have a “date” for the symphony.

I am just plain old grateful. A place to call home, good health, dinner in the oven, the luxury of 3 pets (ok maybe two are luxury, one is hard work :)  a beautiful and loving husband, a kid who ohmazes me daily, the blessing of friendships, a feeling of purpose, the world all around me.  ok, i know it’s not all perfect, but honestly, i feel that heaven on earth, resides in this simple moment and I am grateful :)

I’m grateful, too, for the small flock of cedar waxwings who decided to choose berries on the edge of my yard to feast on and for the woodpecker, blue bird and goldfinches who gathered with them, all caught up in the excitement. I love a mixed flock.

I’m SO grateful that a coworker acknowledged that I didn’t have something I needed and saw to getting it. Another potential conflict averted.

I’m grateful that I felt well enough to do a bit of jogging yesterday, that I slept decently without melatonin last night (and no need to take an antacid during the night), and that I was less sluggish this morning.

Today I’m excited and grateful because I received my Holosync meditation Cd’s in the mail :D Yay!

I’m grateful for my little pc that is handy to catch up with friends, come onto gaia and lets me surf the net. Aswell as being able to write notes, draw in paint programs, listen to and save music, save photos, etc etc etc :D

I’m grateful that my partner has received the program we need to start our little project and I’m grateful to have the money to be able to buy these things :) and for the technology.

Belinda, my husband and me we have been using Holosync for almost two years.
I am so grateful to Bill Harris for having developped the Holosync technique - it definitely changed my life.
I am also grateful that there is a “hotline” to ask questions - which my husband has been using from time to time.
