Thankful for the ice storm, this new day and a home day

Because of the ice storm, I am having the gift of a home day, just me and my girl Tina, my sweet old dog). Keith wasn't so fortunate and schlepped through the icy mush to the bus to get to work, but the space was good for me! I am so gratful to have such a peaceful unfolding of another day on earth, bith such treasured gifts. May I not take my gifts for granted! (And I'll make some nice ginger-tofu-miso-kale to welcome Keith in from the cold that is, after Oprah which I am so into today cus it is all about spirituality)

Giving thanks for winter's gifts–that can indeed come as blessings in disguise! But this winter gift was anticipated and planned for in advance–a paid day off from work.
Yippee!

tomorrow is artic temps here, dipping below zero, and this too brings folks together in caring.

with this weather, i am grateful in knowing that spring always comes!

and today i am grateful the migraine headache i awoke with that rendered me prisoner is leaving, gently and surely. i know it is from a woman at work whose home is saturated with those plug-in fragrances. they are so toxic!

may we wake up to common sense, not the common scents!
