It's been a while since our music man Lars posted some weekend music so I thought it's time for a tune again once in a while.

I'm grateful for all the wonderful music and videos on the internet..
This dude “Larry Carlton” was in my graduation class in high school.
“Steve Lukather” is killer on this cut and Larry can hold his own with anyone.

Yes, Amos Lee. I saw him a copple of years ago here in A'dam and even had a little chat with him,  very wonderful and talented young man.
You recently posted a very nice song of him that I hadn't heard before but I forgat where and I cant remember the title. Would like to hear it again. Have a clue which one I'm talking about?

Nope,but I got it now.  The first one I sent you about 3 weeks ago after you sent me Colours, I checked the GV's .   I have 2 albums of him, the first one and then a second one that I'm not too wild about. So of course I had heard Colours before, I guess I was mixed up with his latest album. I hadn't heard the 'last day at the lodge' until recently and it's really fine. Lots of wonderful songs.

Well today I want to introduce 2 old time friends of mine. Both American ladies I have knows since the late seventies.
Cindy has been living in Amsterdam mostly and aside from her performances they have open mike night every monday. The vid I'm showing here is one of those jams. 

Maureen (Girl) has been living here as well as England and been on the move a lot.  I hadn't seen her for quite some years until last week she showed up and now is staying with me for a copple of days.
I met her years ago while she was playing in a very popluar Amsterdam band of those years called Sail. She has several sites with her music but the vid I'm showing is one a friend of hers put on YouTube for fun when they were just playing around with a phone  hence the quality isn't very good . Nevertheless I thought is was kind of cute and wanted to share it anyway just for the fun of it. Btw she plays guitar very nice, has a lovely voice and wrote many beautiful songs.

As I was actually looking for some other song (the jam of My Back Pages but they took it off YouTube) ) from this all time favourite concert of mine for the occasion of the 30th anniversary Bob Dylan. So  here's another oldie from that same concert.  I think it's one of Dylans finest lovesongs ever and Clapton is always ok. Enjoy.

One of my favorite songs by slow finger.
I saw him in Anchorage Alaska and do remember him singing this song.
Then I get cross tracked and search for the date and I can't come up with it.
What I remember best about it was the incredible stage presents that he had..
He played bits and pieces of everything…and that Stratocaster in his hand is magic.

I saw him once too in The Hague but it's so long ago seems like another lifetime.

You know it's so funny because since I watch music on you Tube I hardly play music in my living room anymore. I gues once I get off that PC I just kinda want peace and quiet.
