Daily Haiku - Good for You!

Ooh!!  Ooh!!   I've got one. 

Janet's “Thank God it's Friday” in another thread inspired this idea.  Let's both start and end with a simple, five-syllable ode to whatever day it is, and insert seven syllables into the middle.  The middle should say something about what's on our hearts or minds, that day - plans, activities, meditations, funny, serious, happy, pensive - but the challenge will basically be to distill the thought into that one seven syllable line. 

Just as in our other Neverending Haiku threads, let's start each with the last line of the previous haiku.  Try to keep the day reference lines generic (and positive!) so that others can easily incorporate them.  First one to the next day gets to change the day word, and people on both ends of Saturday are just going to have to get creative (awwwww!)  :)

What I meant was…

Maybe the format I thought up wasn't as fun-on-a-bun as I thought it would be, and maybe a haiku loosely based on what's up that day with a few mentions of the days of the week would be far more delightful.  It wasn't my intention to seem impatient or petulant. :)

Please fly and be free with structure, syllable count, and content.  I'm sticking with 5-7-5 because that's what makes it fun for me. Should anyone wish to honor the thread's original invitation to use it to share more about yourselves, then please do.
