I'm pretty sure we're all blazing some pretty progressive haiku trails in this forum, with language, subject matter and media that have previously not been associated with haiku. I love and celebrate our horseplay and wordplay. I also love when we get back to reverent distillation of deep meaning and true haiku art, and really knock one anothers' socks off. I have to say, Wil, I'm amazed at the sheer artistic talent you display. Case in point: pulling that meaning-packed haiku together encompassing the delicate topic of notifying someone about a personal appearance issue, managing to describe it discreetly and poetically AND condensing into proper five syllables and incorporating the previous line, perfectly!
