Thought i should post an official 'howdy' :)
Hi all – I'm new here, too, though I've been reading this forum for a couple months now (found you guys when i was googling holosync stuff, trying to find reviews from real users to see what they were saying). You guys convinced me and i've been listening to Awakening Prologue now since mid-March.
Let's see… other intro stuff… i'm a mom, artist, general deep-thinker-spiritual-seeker like most everyone else here. I recently moved into a new studio and have my first solo show coming up next month. With that and some other life-stuff going on, i've been *majorly* stressed this year. Actually, it's been a couple years now of ever-increasing stress. It finally drove me to dig deeper and get this figured out. There's no way i want to spend the rest of my life like this. So… helloooo Holosync! It's been great, too. Has *really* helped me to calm down. That hour a day (sometimes two) is heaven for me, and those calming effects stay with me through the day now, too. Lovelovelove it.
But i'm one of those do-it-my-way people, too. After a month of Awakening Prologue it felt like i'd gotten used to it and i was just waiting for my four months to be up so i could get the next level. Plus, i was really wanting to listen to something other than rain and chimes. Just for a night, even. So i went out and picked up a Monroe hemi-sync disc and the Thompson “Awakened Mind System”. I didn't like the hemi-sync one at all (too many weird jungle sounds and not enough calming music), but i LOVED the Thompson disc. Now I'm alternating between the Thompson discs (i've since purchased a few more) and Awakening Prologue. After getting those couple of “special deal” letters from Centerpointe (I mentioned in the 'Mark from Los Angeles' thread), i'm a looking at Centerpointe's claims and directions with a little more skepticism.
But like i said, i *do* love what the Holosync recordings have done for me, and i plan to continue with the program and get the next level. Really looking forward to that. Good stuff.
And… glad to be here!!
