I've been doing holosync for a while now. Probably about 3 years. It seems during this time, books, technologies, and techniques have come across my path. One that recently came up for me is the works of Jed McKenna. It gave me a very sobering perspective on what enlightenment is and what it is I'm really after.

He has 3 books:
1 - Spiritual Enlightenment The Damnedest Thing
2 - Spiritually Incorrect Enlightenment
3 - Spiritual Warfare

Hi Davybouy,

I am a huge devotee of Dr. Hyman. A friend gave me UltraMetabolism when I was struggling with a health issue that mainstream med docs were of no help to me.

I read the book and found a functional medicine doc in my area and I now would never go to any other type of doctor.

I have not yet read Ultramind as I think it includes much of what is in Ultrametabolism but is directed at a different group. I will read it eventually.

I am a wellness coach and recommend him and his books to my clients regularly.

Let me know if you want more specific information from me about my experience.

On the redesigned home page there is something called the Ultramind Solution by Dr Mark Hyman. According to my answers to his questions I have a broken brain! Ouch.

Does anyone have any experience of him and/or the program?

Ok. I know this is in the off topic chit chat board, but there are Metaphysics pods....In the deceit of the selfiash mind pod which you cultivate it says " I do not feel like telling an opinion without a reason."

How do you see this manifesto relating to Holosync (the focus of this pod after all), do you use Holosync yourself or hold an opinion on it?

This post may come across as combative so may I reasure you that I enjoyed reading your post as I earn a salary by studying the structure of the earth using realistic reductionist Copernicist mathematics, yes I am a Geophysicist.

Physicists, mostly, are realistic reductionist Copernicist mathematicists.

Realism is the prejudice that there is a universe out there, distinct from, but in communication with the physicist(1), and that understanding of this universe ought to be obtained by careful observation(2).

Reductionism is the prejudice that in order to understand complicated thingsit helps to understand its simpler parts(3).

Copernicism is the prejudice that the universe doesn’t care about the physicist’s tastes and preferences(4): the universe will keep going its own way as physicists fall for fads and fashions. In short, you are neither the center, nor at the center, of the universe.

Mathematicism is the prejudice that we can describe and, with luck, predict phenomena using the rules of the mathematical game(5); and that the universe deigns to conform to the rules of human mathematics(6).

All these prejudices may be wrong(7), but I will stick to them until they are clearly wrong.

1: Denying this is solipsism: the solipsist cannot be proven wrong by logical argument, but is, perhaps for that very reason, not a nice person to be with.

5: After centuries of brainwashing by physics’ successes, it is extremely hard for us even to conceive of any other way of doing it.

6: An undeserved but very fortunate condescension! This behaviour cannot be proven, but so far we have been succesful. On the other hand, it may mean that our mathematics has hit upon some fundamental actual properties of the world—in that case, an alien thechnology-based civilization on a distant planet would probably do mathematics the same way.

7: An open mind is a good thing, but a prejudice such as ‘do not jump out of this high window, because gravity always works’ sees you safely through the day.

i understand the feeling. to be honest, i had that same feeling too when i first heard of the rebrand. however, after our meetings with Gaiam and . note that the Gaia name was not imposed on us by Gaiam. we embraced it after doing a lot of soul-searching and considering the challenges that lie ahead. we love Zaadz. i love Zaadz. but ultimately, we had to let go of our attachment with the name and be the change. we understand the challenge of the "generic" name of Gaia, but we'll take this challenge head on :)

as for the design, we'll continue to improve it as we go along. there are a lot of cool new features ahead. can't wait to give them a shout out!

I liked the name Zaadz a lot more. It was cool, orginal wheras Gaia is generic.

I also don't like the top bar, since it takes up too much screen estate, as do the ads.

Zaadz' weaknesses were a cluttery interface and a lack of contrast in the graphics. Those things are better now but... they could still be done better.

Well, it might look OK on bigger computer screens, but on my old monitor (800 x 640?), I am spending an awful lot of energy and time scrolling - and putting it into a smaller (1200/) resolution would mean I'd need a magnifying glass to read it.

I also find that on most pages, half the page is devoted to advertising and the link-buttons at the top - in my mind a huge waste of space.

As far as the name goes, I don't like it, never have and never will! Haven't got a clue how anyone can pronounce it without gagging, actually. Just sounds harsh, compared to the nice soft sound of Zaadz.

I also don't like that they are now calling the "pods" - groups! May as well have been called "gaiangs".

(Sorry, but you asked, and I needed a good rant...... LOL)!!!
