I purchased the "Ultimate" pack about two and a half years ago, and use them still off and on. Whenever I have a bit of overwhelm, and I at least have an idea where the sticking point is, I will put one of them on, and usually find things moving. When I am studying I use a combination of them, along with other LSC programs to get my old brain to fire up better. I understand that they have added several more since then, but I found what I had already worked well for me, so I didn't bother expanding my collection.

I also enjoy the Deep Relaxation CD for quick pick-me-up's or when I just can't get my monkey mind to shut down at night. If I'm feeling something coming on health-wise, I use the "Health" CD. Since I have now furthered my studies in NLP (to Trainer level) I see that the language patterns used are definitely very good for making changes. Even though I am not at all great on visualizing, it's the "other-than-conscious" mind that is mainly getting the messages anyways, so I just let it flow.

The various techniques (Holosync, SALT, NLP and Hypnosis) are brilliantly interwoven to create something which is pleasant to listen to and WILL create change if you follow the instructions provided in the booklets accompanying the CD's. As with all Holosync technology, it is not advisable to crunch them down into MP3's for use on MP3 players - not only do you lose much of the Holosync benefit, you also tend to get bleed-through on the distinct dual induction each contains.

I have also used the Sonic Access CD's, but somewhat less because they are more meditation and less Paraliminal, although there are Paraliminal elements included. Truthfully, I couldn't get into the music used on those CD's.

My perspective is that when you combine listening to the Paraliminals, with the use of The Sedona Method and Holosync, you cannot stay stuck in hell if you are at all consistent in your use of them. I think you'd have to try pretty hard to be miserable for the combo NOT to work. Just my humble opinion, of course.

I emailed Learning Stategies about the research backing paraliminals. This is the link they sent me:

http://www.learningstrategies.com/Paraliminal/Article1.asp

How are you doing with Kelly Howell's Brain Sync The Secret - Universal Mind Meditation?

I just went to her website and it seems really facinating. Do you use both TSUMM I & II ?

I ordered the Ideal Weight paraliminal because of a special offer that came through Centerpointe. Since I seem to have a lifelong challenge in that regard, it was the only one I could see myself using. I do have difficulty adjusting to Paul Scheele's voice. I guess its a personal resonance thing but I usually get past it after I dive down into the guided meditation and then feel it all over again as I come back up.

Still, it arrived just after I started a new diet effort and so I have been using it, albeit inconsistently, since Holosync gets my first priority and Kelly Howell's Brain Sync The Secret - Universal Mind Meditation gets my going to sleep priority. Her voice is beautiful and soothing to my ears.

Anyway, the Ideal Weight paraliminal is in 2 parts and you are to use one the first day and then the other the next and cycle back and forth between the 2. I am on my second 11 day cycle of this diet I've been on (with 3 days off in between). During this second effort, I am now on Day 7 and my weight has pretty much held its position stubbornly, though at least I've not been gaining.

Imagine my surprise this morning, when the 1% weight loss goal, the paraliminal asked me to set, suddenly materialized unexpectedly. Exactly the 1.5 lb loss to 133.5 I had set. Granted I did feel hunger last night but somehow managed to just cope with the nagging feeling of it.

I have also been listening during my daily hikes to Bruce Lipton's The Biology of Belief - I highly recommend his work. It will amaze you if you don't know that the mind or brain is actually located in your skin. And the fact is, that what initiates the DNA to respond to the need to create new circumstances, by releasing the blueprint for proteins that are not already present in the cells, is perception or belief. So, now, I fully realize just how important my beliefs about myself are.

Deborah

I've used a few paraliminals but not extensively. I can't say I was bowled over by any great effects, but then I didn't really persevere. One day I'll give them another go. Maybe.

Has anyone here tried the Paraliminals? They use Holosync binaurals for alpha-theta entrainment with a dual-induction suggestion script based on NLP (or so I understand). Not really my thing, but I am curious if other people here have found them useful.
