I've started the LPIP but so far I haven't got past lesson 8. What I've done has been pretty useful so I hope to get back to it.

I don't have Sonic Access but it seems to be an interesting product that combines several different technologies. It is not a Centerpointe product per se, but it does include the Holosync technology.

Yeah, it's the Life Principles Integration Process, 3 x 12 audio lessons with Bill as well as written transcripts. It's a combination of NLP and Bill's knowledge/summary of eastern teachings. I bought it when it was still somewhat cheap (or at least not extremely expensive). I don't know what the price is know, but my guess is that it's expensive.

I started the LPIP last year and it was £279. At the time I thought this was a bit steep but I looked at what I'd spent over the years on CDs, hifi, booze, smoking, clothes etc. etc. and figured decided to give it a go.

Yes it's a mix of NLP, Eastern thought etc. but on the whole I've found it well structured and the first few lessons alone would have been worth the course fee for me as they helped me through a very difficult period. You get email support as well and from what I could tell the responses are individual rather than just cut & pasted from an FAQ :)

It's also introduced me to a whole new set of ideas and writers like Alan Watts for which I'll always be grateful.

It's no magic solution - you do have to work at it and be prepared to do things differently but on balance I'm still glad I signed up.

And no, I don't work for centerpointe :)

I've started the PhotoReading course. It's good; I am sure it works. I really like Learning Strategies' learning courses; they do know how to train, that's for sure. Learning this technique takes some commitment, but I am sure it will pay off for me in grad school!

Well, the system is actually a series of techniques that are all valuable on their own and allow you to accomplish quite a lot when put together.

When they teach you each individual technique in the course, they make sure you have some degree of success with it so you keep going. For instance, early on they have you PhotoRead the dictionary to get a taste of “the magic”.

I have not PhotoRead an entire full-length book yet, but I PhotoRead articles all the time and I am having great success. That's how I know it works.

I also feel that my memory is getting better (maybe due to the Memory Supercharger paraliminal they sent with the set, but also because my mind is getting exercise in pulling things from the other-than-concious mind). All I have to do is ask my mind for a piece of info (like a name or date) and it comes. It's a little freaky!

The PR system basically works like this: with a solid and meanful intention set, you briefly preview the material to get a sense of the whole thing, then you install the entire text it in your other-than-concious mind, then you use “activation” techniques to retrieve it and bring it into conscious awareness. All in all, you make several passes over the material.

Even without the other-than-concious mind installation part, these techniques can improve your reading. It's pretty cool.

Hi:

I have tried the Sonic Access CD's for Success and for Health - haven't got to the rest of them yet.  I received mine about two months ago.  I have mixed feelings on the whole thing.  I will say that when I've used the Success CD, it seems that soon after listening (day or two) I seem to draw something good to me, but I haven't had time enough to experiment to see if it's just coincidence or something really happening there.

I think the holosync on these is somewhat stronger than on the Paraliminals (I also have the original full set, but not the four new ones he put out last year).  I am not really keen on the “choir” that sings at the end of the meditation - sounds a little too much like your good old-fashioned gospel group for my comfort - and it pulls me right out of meditation because of that.  So then I'm not really in the mood to continue meditating into the second half with just the music.  I also find the visualizations hard to follow, but that's because I'm more kinesthetic, and rarely get visuals.

Having taught meditation myself for 25 years, I'd say the LSC people have a thing or two to understand about meditation yet.

On the second part, the 30 minutes of music is relatively soothing and healing on the ones I've listened to.  I've used it occasionally separate from the main meditation, just for quiet meditation and self-hypnosis.

On the main meditation, the music (other than the aforementioned <YUK> singing) is pleasant, some of it very upbeat, and then settles down into what I call “hypno-music” for the meditation part.  Other than it has holosync beneath it, it probably wouldn't do that much for me, one way or the other.  I somewhat a spoiled brat where music is concerned, though, so it probably would do more for others than myself.

I know Paul Scheele hangs a lot on the idea that the music does something special - maybe it does, and I'm just not “getting” it.

All I know is that the CD's seem to work for me, regardless of my resistance to ithe music.  So that's something.

Looking over this thread reminded me of what I heard on a teleseminar I sat in on the other night with Bill Harris and Brad Antin (his marketing man).

When the Gamma CD was being tested out (a bit over a year ago) on “Inner Circle” people, I paid over $100.00 CDN for it, along with an additional amount for a bunch of CD's of his retreats and lectures.  Then, when it came time to order my next levels, they suggested that I could get the Gamma for an “extra” $60.00 CDn approximately.  Well, given that my one and only time I listened to that Gamma CD I originally ordered, I ended up with so much rage for about 12 hours (with no apparent other reason for having it) that I've been afraid to listen to it again, much less order it again on my next levels.

However, listening to this “How To Talk Like A Marketer” teleseminar - prelude to their third weekend long seminar coming up in late June in Los Angeles - they disclosed that NOW they are “upselling' those who order the levels one at a time to buy the Gamma CD for that level at only $19.95.  But still they're hitting the “Inner Circle” people up for $60.00.  Gee, is that fair?

So, just wondering - has anyone here had any success with this CD - was it me only that has had a problem with it, and what do you think of the difference being charged between the “test” Gamma CD and what they'll settle for now, to have you order it?

I think Gamma is a nice complement to the rest of the Holosync program. In some ways its more “motherly” if the regular Holosync is more “fatherly”.

I'm an inner circle member, and I got an offer to buy the Gamma CD's for all remaining levels. It was fairly cheap to upgrade but I forget the price.

LPIP is good and a nice compliment to the Sedona Method and the Holosync process. I see the two programs as being the same thing with different forms of delivery. This is helpful to me because the different ways of approaching the subject of integrating emotional responses makes it, in the end, easier to understand.

Whereas one person might not really “get it” with Sedona, they might with LPIP and verce visa. And once you “get it” you can more easily understand where the other program might have been confusing.

Most importantly, is to remember these programs are meant to be interactive. So unlike Holosync, which is turnkey (pushbutton), you've gotta do the homework to get the full benefit. It is worth the effort.

And I can say that, in my case, my progress skyrocketed when I implemented these programs and their teachings into my regimen.


For me, Gamma is useful in: dissolving creative blocks, problem solving, and helpful when I'm stuck in this process and energies need to be freed up. It also seems to make releasing sessions (refer to the Sedona Method) go much more smoothly.

I think this is because it gives me incredible focus power in a certain range where these energies meet and eventually unify. It cuts through resistance like a laser. That is what Gamma does for me.

I'm thinking of purchasing the LPIP courses and was curious about the theory/practice ratio.  I have a PhD in Education and a strong theoretical background in schema theory (which the LPIP seems to draw heavily upon). 

How interactive are the lessons and homework?  Do you think they would be appropriate for someone who is very knowledgable already about how the brain and mind work?  The program sounds great, but if it is too much “Ed Psych 101” it wouldn't be worth the price for me.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I've tried these affirmation cd's but I've never found any mark difference from them, also I find it difficult enough to make time for my daily dive/immersion sessions. So i'm just gonna let that be enough. But these LPIP sound very interesting, will probably check it out when my finance will balance.

Thanks for your input.  I've decided to go with The Sedona Method.   A series of synchronicities since I asked about LPIP yesterday seem to confirm the choice of Sedona over LPIP.  I'll continue with the Holosync (just started Awakening Prologue a few days ago) so it will be interesting to see how the two mesh together.

The Sedona Method dovetails quite nicely with the Holosync program in that, if/when you encounter resistance or overwhelm, using the method helps you to release those significantly and move into a better space.  I have used it off and on all through my Holosync journey - going on three years with Sedona now.

Even as a stand-alone growth method, Sedona has a lot of potential on its own.  As well, for Sedona practitioners there is ongoing support in the way of “graduate calls” and they also have a forum, I believe, or some sort of chat room where you can actually ask questions of Hale Dwoskin in person, apparently.  I haven't had the need or the time to participate, and have since stopped receiving their ongoing newsletter stuff because it just got to be too much all the time.

I'm just wondering if there are some ”Inner Circle” people here who are not on Bill's email list.  If so, you might want to check into the “Participants” link on the CRI web-site, and sign in.

Last Friday I received an email addressed specifically to ICLM's with some really interesting “specials”.  One of note, for those who may have been wanting to add the ”Gamma” to their levels, will provide it for your remaining levels, at US$9.95 per level.  That is considerably less than the US$99.95 I paid for the original one about two years ago.

The other bundles include several DVD's - including one longer one of the Big Mind process, with Bill leading the “Transformational Arts” group through the process, and another was for several interviews with Ken Wilber participating.  Anyways, that's just a sampling, for those who might be interested.

Re-reading the list, I discovered that I actually already own one of the specials I ordered - I didn't recognize it by name - one of those things I've tucked away for “future study”, and still looking for the time to study it.  Oh, well, maybe I can “gift” it to someone.

Rai, can you post your experience about Meditation Solution (Gamma), Dr.Jeffrey Thompson 's CDs, especially the gamma meditation system? I am thinking of trying them.

The Holosync Gamma Compassion CD is available to people ordering from Awakening Level 1 onwards.  It is keyed to whatever level you are on.  If you order it once, they will continue to include it with future CD's and will add the cost in.  Last year they had a “special” for ICLM's that greatly reduced the cost (from what I had earlier reported in this thread last year) toward having it added into current and future levels.  Not sure if that savings would be passed on for people who are not ICLM's.  If you phone or email to Centerpointe they would give you the pricing.
