Greetings Claire - and Welcome to the group…
Holosync affects everyone differently, although the continued use of it will produce results if the program is followed pretty much as described in the Centerpointe literature.
Have you contacted the Centerpointe Support Line with your situation? They are very good at assisting people with some of the things you have described happening to you. Certainly, if you are experiencing more “overwhelm” than you can handle, you are wise to cut back for a while, perhaps increasing the time incrementally as you become more comfortable with some of the physical effects you are feeling.
The “spaced out” or “blanked out” feeling is similar to what some people (not all though) experience with hypnosis. This is because the binaural beats are pulling you into a level of mind where you would normally be asleep, but instead you are there, but still awake, or at least partially awake. That you are feeling a vibration in your head actually tells me that you are beginning to experience the changes in your neurology as per what the program is supposed to do. It may all feel a little weird, but the best advice I know is still the (somewhat worn out) phrase “Let it be OK”.
Regarding your dazed feeling, after each session you should sit quietly for about five minutes or so, just allowing the body to return to normal. If you find it difficult to return to normal, after sitting for a while, you may want to consider putting on some upbeat music and pushing yourself to move a bit with it to get the blood flowing again, and this should also normalize the activity going on in your brain. Having a small piece of fruit to help normalize blood-sugar might also be helpful, as some people occasionally have a drop in blood-sugar simply because of sitting still for an hour.
Also, please do not consider your remarks as “negative”. You are experiencing something that is different in your realm of experience - and that experience in itself is neither negative or positive - it just is. So please do ask more questions if you need further help - this is a support group of sorts, and we are all (I think) doing the same thing. Some of us have been at it a bit longer, and we're happy to help you adjust as you progress.
Cheers!
