I am now 33 years old, I was born in Cardiff, Wales which is part of the UK. I was raised in a Jehovahs Witness family, but I have always been an atheist I just didn't know it. I am a humble atheist however and should “God” make himself known to me I will happily admit I was wrong. From a young age I was totally into science, I studied Geology at university and work as a geophysicist. I am married and live in Cork, Ireland which is where my wife is from. We have a beautiful daughter who is 18 months old.

I have just finished using The Dive from Awakening Prologue for the 1st time and I would like to thank the members of this group as I devoured the posts here prior to purchasing Holosync. I had doubts similar to these (http://pods.gaia.com/holosync/discussions/view/325013#325105) mentioned by Elizabeth and it was the input from the members of this group that swung my decision to go ahead. I was also concerned about the time commitment which Haelan helped me put in perspective with this “Why do you think you can't commit to an hour a day of meditation? If you can't make time to better  yourself who will?” Thanks Hae, also thanks to Synonym for Light and again thanks to the members of this group.

I have been an occasional meditator after purchasing a Mindfulness Meditation program by Jon Kabat-Zinn, but decided to purchase HS as I wanted to develop an everyday practice and I really enjoyed the sounds on the sample. SO even if the science is not “sound” I will still get the benefits of meditation, I will post on the Holosync board about my 1st DIve.

Welcome to the Holosync Pod! Here's to our journey together, keep us posted!!! 3 more days until I use Immersion so I will post my experiences so far once I start it. Also, keep a lookout in the mail for a free book you will recieve called ''Thresholds of the Mind'' by Bill Harris. I've been reading it and so far I think it's really good.
