I found something!!

Hi everyone! I posted here a month or so ago in a state of total despair. I was suffering from terrilbe anxiety and very bad paxil withdrawal. I kid you not, I was very close to doing something stupid! My problem with holosync was it was simply too much for me, I was very disheartened because I figured it was my last shot at getting somewhere! Some of you posted some very nice comments that helped me, one in particular told me I would find something that would help me, well I did!!! I couldnt understand why I couldnt get to the bottom of my anxiety, I am a smart guy but nothing was working, sedona method, every anxiety help programme on the net, nothing would click. I started to think if I was missing something. Everybody has heard the phrase 'Depression is anger turned inwards'. Well its true!! And therin lies the solution to my lifelong problem, my anxiety was anger turned inwards, or supressed anger. I did a bit of research and found this website - www.redirectingselftherapy.com. As I started to read it, my jaw dropped, this was it! Its based on the idea that all mental illness and suffering is cuased my spressed anger. I started practising straight away and instantly realised that behind my anxiety was a mountain of anger that had never gotten out, I always assumed I wasnt an angry person becuase I never got angry, how wrong I was. The process wasnt easy, It is a detoxing process and you get lots of headaches, awful mood swings and mind numbing depression, I was doing it for 5 or 6 hours a day, perhaps too much, it works a lot like holosync I imagine, the results are staggering, I finally had my few days of grief today and yesterday, cried like a baby all day, the difference is amazing. I am not out of the woods yet but can firmly say I am on my way to recovery, and thats not all, started listening to holosync again and guess what - NO OVERWHELM!! The reason I had the overwhelm before was because I couldnt recognise the anger wanting to come out! Can you imagine my relief, excitement and pure amazement at this find?? I am telling you that this therapy is truely amazing, it will resonate more with some than others but can help everyone I am convinced!!

So there you go, I found my path, and I am sure holosync will be my friend instead of my enemy from here on in!

God bless everyone!

Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Great stuff! Thanks for sharing the link.

A lot of therapy and shadow work involves uncovering the “real” emotion that lies underneath what we're feeling. For example: sad=mad. But the material you linked to seems to focus hard-core on accessing our anger and I think that's a very useful exercise. There is so much stored up anger in the world causing all kinds of dysfunctions.

Thanks,
Pelle
