1) If time and money were not an issue, where would you go, for how long, and why?
Italy, because I was born there and don't remember it. India, to the Osho meditation resort, the Ganges, many other places. Ireland, Turkey, Moscow, the Amazon, the Andes.
2) What do you love about travelling?
Freedom, surprises, the sensation of movement.
3) What do you not love about travelling?
Security lines at airports, not knowing where I'll sleep or eat, sore feet.
4) Out of all the places you've been, what are your top travel destinations? Why?
I haven't been many places for travel other than to visit family - my favorite right now is travelling around here, the Pacific Northwest. Great climate, great scenic beauty, a couple nice cities, no airport lines.
5) Where have you been that you would caution other people to avoid? Why?
There are places I didn't like so much (short tourist cruise to the Bahamas, suburbs of Chicago, Gary, Indiana), but other people might - so it's up to them!
