How do I invite people onto my friends list?

~Matthew said Mar 14, 2006, 4:46 PM:

Go to the profile page (http://username.zaadz.com) of the person you wish to invite, and click on “invite as friend” underneath her/his buddy icon.  You will be prompted to send the person a message, as well!

Are you sure you're logged in?

Lots of things don't necessarily appear unless you're logged in, such as your list of pods to the left of your profile..

I've logged out and logged back in several times and it still dosen't work. In the upper right hand corner it says I'm logged in.

If I'm doing something wrong I'd like to know what it is. Thanks any way.

What browser and OS (operating system) are you using?

Hello Matthew. I'm using msn tv2. It's an updated version of web tv, the poor man's computer.  I believe the browser is internet explorer. I'm not very computer savvy, and I appreciate everyone's help. Thank you.

Hi Matthew, I'm having the same problem. I've tried for three people since the first two were easily added, and it hasn't worked. I'm using Firefox browser with XP as my OS - is that ok?

Thanks,

Nicole

The Friends feature doesn’t seem to be working correctly for me either. I see the controls just fine (Safari/MacOS), have accepted several invites and sent out some which have been accepted, yet I’m still showing 0 friends on Zaadz. I’m feeling kinda lonely. ;-)

Am I missing a step somewhere?

Thanks for the reporting, everyone.  This feature is currently not working, but I've informed the appropriate wizards, and it should be fixed soon.

Matthew, if no one else tells you today, you're the greatest. I was having the same problem and here I find you're already on it. Thanks again for helping me get my account re-established after my hiatus.

Hey everyone, don't forget to thank Matthew!

I thought we weren't supposed to pay any attention to the man behind the curtain. Oops, wrong paradigm…

Hey, Thanks “behind the curtain folks”!!

Ok!  Curtain unveiled.  You can thank Ryan.  It should be all ready to go, and all invitations you've accepted or others have accepted from you should be up!  So, no need to re-send :)

Indeed, Saint Ryan is worthy of the title. All of my recent friends are now showing up.

Thanks a billion! Again.

yep, ~Matthew and Ryan rock! i'm honored to be working with them.

to all,

just a reminder, this pod, zPod:HTFAQ is a pod for asking questions about the functionality of Zaadz. ALL BUG reports should go to zPod:Zaadz Support. it's cleaner and more organized that way :)

thanks!
