HELP! I can't send ANY messages!

i just joined Gaia yesterday, and i'm able to start new posts, and reply to posts, but every time i try to send a private message to someone or try to invite to be my friend, i get a message saying that i have already exceeded the max number of messages allowed for the day.  but, i haven't sent any messages at all.

what do i do?

Sounds like it might be a bug.
Best to post this to the Gaia Support  pod.
when you do, please mention what your browser is.

Welcome to Gaia, the bugs will work out and once you figure
it all out, you'll have FUN!

This sounds very familiar, Elisha. I think I have read it about happening to others. I vaguely recall there is some limit to the number of private messages one can make in one's first few days of membership, but I can't imagine the limit is zero, haha, so go ahead and call this to the attention of the bug-and-glitch folks, as Ladybear suggests. Or just give it a few days and see what happens….

And we're happy you are so active and pro-active right away here, and welcome. Despite any glitches, this is an awesome place and well worth your time !!!!
