I just created a group, but...

Whenever i type parameters in the search box to find my discussion on here, i dont get any results.  How are people going to see my thread?

Welcome and congrats, handsoftime. Please link to your group and your discussion. Which search box? Search this group, or Search Groups. They are very different. And they only search post text, not post titles. Maybe that info will help you. Not sure I understand your problem.

Also, it takes a little time for a new group to make it into the cache.  If you're still having this issue, it may be a bug.  Let us know!

Still having a problem.  i tried to search for it again in “search groups”.  Ive also tried the box “what do you seek?”  Still nothing doing.  I mean, if you click on my profile, and look at groups i administer, you'll see it there. but i cant find it when i search for it.

Hi handsoftime, can you link me to the thread you would like to be able to find through the search?  Then I'll know what I am searching for, and I can test it.

Oops, I meant Search this Group uses only text for searching. I don't know what Search Groups looks at.
