How To: Subscribe to Blogs and Receive Notifications

~C4Chaos said Nov 29, 2006, 11:19 AM:

Here's how to subscribe to blogs and set your subscription notifications.

To subscribe to blogs within Gaia:

1) Go to the blog that you want to subscribe to. e.g. http://team.gaia.com/blog

2) Click on Add To Notifications

3) You are now subscribed to the blog.

To read your subscriptions on your Gaia page:

1) In the 'Me' tab on your sidebar, click on 'Subscribed' in the Blog / Journal section.

2) You will then see all the recent posts on blogs that you subscribed to.

To read your subscriptions on your personal email:

1) Click 'Settings' in the 'Me' tab in your sidebar

2) Under Subscriptions and Notifications, click Blogs

3) You'll see a list of blogs that you're subscribed to. From there you can choose the email address where to subscription will be sent, the frequency of subscriptions, and whether to receive full content.

4) Click Save

To subscribe to blogs using RSS reader or Aggregator:

1) Go to the blog that you want to subscribe to. e.g. http://team.gaia.com/blog

2) Click on Feed. You will bring up the feed page for the blog. Take note of the feed URL address and plug it into your aggregator.

Or can just plug the URL of the blog into your favorite aggregator, e.g. http://user-id.gaia.com/blog/feed

There you have it!
