Hi Maya!

I think you are looking for the Show Resonance Widget.

that might only be available to people who have Gaia Plus, I'm not sure
since that program has changed.

You go into your settings, accessed in the left column of your profile page
toward the bottom. You will see that link in the right column.
If it is not there, then that means you need PLUS.
Write to
siona@gaia.com or matthew@gaia.com
and ask how to do that if you can't access it.

Hello! My friend told me there was a setting where you could have recommendations of people you may wish to be in contact with based upon similar interests, show up on your homepage. Does anyone know where I can find that option to activate? Thank you and Divine Wishes!! ;)

First, I just don't "get" the organization of this section. It has 2 members???????????? What in heck are members and how does one join? It has 363 "Boards." That must mean one Board for every film submitted. By how many people? Don't submitters automatically become members???

And if each film is a Board, why do individual films show up in my Settings/Notifications/Groups list, which really clutters it up no end ????? I'm not sure but I think only SOME of the films I have put into my "shelf" are listed there, so why some and not others, or is the list complete. So if I have 100 films on my shelf, all will be there in my Group Notifications list??? ARGH !!!

So sometimes Gaia Films is a Group, and sometimes the individual films are treated as Groups. This is confusing.

And how did I get 4 films in my own section, never having submitted or added them myself?? The first time I ever went to the section, there were already 4 films in it.

I'd like a bit of clarification and orientation, please.

Is it possible to send greetings to more than one friend at a time? If so - how do I separate the 'email addies'? If not - is it an option you are thinking about implementing?

I was also a bit confused about what the 'subdomain' exactly is when I first read this thread. Until I realised that it must be the first part of one's Gaia profile's web address. So if Mikey goes to his profile page and sees in his internet browser's address window the address http://mikeydineen.gaia.com then mikeydineen is his subdomain, right?

Hi Mikey,

Meenakshi is exactly right. You don't need to put any e-mail address in the system. Just the user's subdomain. The message should come from whatever e-mail the sender has as their primary address, and it should go to your primary e-mail address.

So, if you wanted to send a greeting to me, in the e-mail field, you would just put matthew. To meenakshi, you would put meenakshi. To Mikey_Dee, you would put mikeydineen.

Make sense?

Did you get a Gaia greeting from me, Mikey? If so, then although it says 'recipient email' all we have to do, is write the web address of our friends. When I click on your name, I go to your profile page. That tells me your web address, otherwise called 'subdomain'. Mine is meenakshi. Yours is mikeydineen.

Now if you didn't get a Gaia greeting from me; then this is all wrong. So-did you?

Mike, check your email and see if you've got one from me. I wrote 'mikeydineen' for Recipient's Email as instructed.

Hello, the (relatively) new feature of sending greetings is appreciated- It's easy to send to non-members of Gaia, with their email, but why is there not a possibility to chose to send to my Gaian friends? whose emails I don't have- Am I missing something obvious?
