My bookmark thingy is not working!

Quiche said Sep 2, 2007, 9:38 AM:

Tried to add another bookmark, and it says “invalid url”, when I know that it is not. Here's the bookmark:

<a href=”http://www.hrw.org/”><img src=”http://www.hrw.org/banner/images/nmte_small.gif” width=”200” height=”50” border=”0”></a>

Human Rights Watch? Invalid URL? Hardly.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Namaste!

Based on my recent experience, I would say the quote mark in the URLmight be screwing it up. Try deleting that and see what happens.

also, remember that you're adding a URL when adding a bookmark. so don't include any HTML tags. just the http:// + the address of the page. in this case you only need to add http://www.hrw.org

and yeah, don't include the quotes.

thanks!

Hmmm. Just for the sake of my general Internet education: What's an HTML tag, in this context? is it the <a href… crud?
