HOW TO: Spice up My Profile

I've noticed that a lot you have already spiced up your profile page. Congratulations, you've found a cool workaround on pimping out your main page :)

Now allow me to share the HOW TO on spicing up our profile pages. First, check out my profile. I know. It looks groovy :) But you can make yours even groovier by following the instructions and links to instructions below.

Add Photos, Links, and Cool Stuff on Your Profile Page 

– On your main page, click on Update My Profile

– On the Update Profile Page, go to your Tell us a bit about yourself box and enter all the information, links, and photos that you want. The simpler the better.

How do you include pictures on your profile page? Simple. Use cut-and-paste. Adding photos to your profile page is the same as adding photos to your blog posts. So read this How To Bodhi-Blog instructions and you'll be posting photos in no time! 

NOTE: Photos can be from anywhere on the net. But we highly recommend that you only use photos that are yours. If you want you can upload them first on your photo album then use them on your profile page.

You can also experiment adding embedded objects (like movies, audios) on your profile page. See How Do I Post Embedded Objects on My Blog for instructions.

Fill Out Your What Do You Love Section 

– On the Update Profile page, make sure to fill out the What Do You Love section! Please take the time to make your lists, separting them with commas.

We don't recommend typing up paragraphs and free-form stories or novels on those lists. Why? Because if you do it that way you won't be utilizing one of the most important features which is, Tags!

Remember: The site makes use of the lists on your What Do You Love Section and converts them into tags so that other people can find you.

For example, if you're interested in philosophy, make sure to include philosophy on your Interests list so that you'll show up on this page,

http://www.zaadz.com/people/interests/philosophy 

when members are looking for people to hook up who are also interested in philosophy. Same thing goes to your Heroes, Teachers, Books, Music, and Movies lists.
