Dear all. As you may all know, I'm presently reading the Koran. It is tough reading ( counted the severe threats throughout 17 pages at a total of 31 - didn't bother to count the 'slight' ones) to me so I relax by reading H.C.Andersen's fairy tales. Then, in the story 'the metal pig' I read following: 'It was late on a winter evening. The mountains were covered with snow; but the moon shone, and moonlight in Italy is just as good as the light of a murky Northern winter's day; nay, it is better, for the air shines and lifts us up, while in the North the cold grey leaden covering seems to press us downwards to the earth - the cold damp earth, which will some day press down our coffin.' He pictures the Danish weather quite well I think. And still my friends and family ask me ( and have done since I left Denmark 7 years ago): 'When do you come back to Denmark ( for good)?' Are they mad? Am I mad? or do they just like the feeling of being depressed??? love and light thor
