The “problems” of the world seem to stem from a focus on ME, my needs, my views, my thoughts!!! I am working on the idea that every one and everything have equal rights, like all the droplets of water in the oceans having equal freedom to move around but also equal chances of hitting the beach. |

A study was conducted in Washington D.C. in 1993 by John Hagelin, PhD., wherein his team brought into the area a large number of people who were trained to meditate. When the group reached 4000 people who were meditating the city experienced a statistically significant drop in crime compared to expected rates based on previous data. They collaborated with local police, the FBI, and 24 leading, independent criminologists and social scientists from major institutions that used highly sophisticated research tools to control the variables. They predicted a 20% drop in crime and they achieved a 25% drop. |

Thank you Darci!!! Great example! 4000 meditating people could reduce crime with 25%: 4000 people in a city of about 580,000. When we do the math this may indicate that if one person focuses her mind and raises her vibrational energy 145 people in her environment will be energetically invited to do the same. |

So, how do we raise the love in ourselves? Well, one way that I have been using to help me see people, differently is to view them as spiritual beings rather than as human beings. When I do this judgement falls to the wayside - the limitations that I might see in someone by looking at them as a human being dissolves when I look at them as a spiritual being. Perhaps, this is over simplified. But, I have to say, it works for me. Just that one shift in my thought process instantly changes my view of someone that I don't know. I see the common ground … I see the connection we all have with one another easier when I view people without the exterior. But, I have to make a conscious effort to view people in this way. It does not come natural for me. |

Again, right on cue. I will only say that up until now my life can be a reflection of the reactive self or it can be an expression of the true self from Love. I am interesting myself in consciously allowing my life to be a reflection of my true self. Peace |

I consciously work on undoing my negativities. The more sensitive I get to my own vibrational state the clearer I see how high the stakes are, so to speak. At a certain point to let anything slip by with a “I'll deal with that later”, or “that one doesn't count” becomes impossible. I see the effects my state of mind has on others, + and -, and it's no longer an option for me to let things slide. Yes and somehow it does effect global warming and other world problems. |

Thank You! for posting that link. Loved it and was truly inspired. That is the type of understand, awareness and inspiration The Enlighten Directory Project, of which I am the administrator, is seeking. I've posted a story on it at: About Awareness.com |
