Grey Just testing URLs in the grapevine. This link will take you to Pelle's blog: http://is.gd/ixdm (I want to see if this gets converted to a link or if you have to copy and paste it.) (10 months ago)

Grey Oof! Just saw this now, Siona.... Yeah, flutters I think it was... no, "flaps", but I don't like it much. "Flutter" was the name to replace "Grapevine". Anyway, I just used "tweets" here because it's more readily recognizable. :) (10 months ago)

What's Your Take on AQAL Journal?

~C4Chaos said Mar 10, 2007, 3:11 PM:

(originally posted on www.c4chaos.com)

journal of integral theory and practice

Finally, AQAL Journal is now available.

“AQAL Journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed, academic journal from Integral Institute. It explores issues and topics from multiple perspectives at many levels of complexity, including articles, editorials, book reviews, research, and other resources from the integral community.”

I have a basic Multiplex membership so I was able to download the PDF of the first two issues: Spring 2006 (Part 1) and Summer 2006 (Part 2). And man! Each has almost 500 pages! Topics range from art, consciousness studies, business, criminology, finance, ecology, politics, medicine, health care, and more. I don't have time to read all of them at this time but I think I'll focus more on the practical applications in my personal sphere, such as business, finance, leadership, and integral transformative practice.

For those who have read the first two issues, feel free discuss it here and let us know whether you think the information is promising, useful, or too theoretical.

I will say that just skimming it (them) I love it! Already I've seen a few things I think are simply spectacular. And it just  wonderful -and a real milestone-to see this thing get put to the task by other people and in multiple disciplines, etc. I thought that I would put off reading all those  1000 pages, but I don't think I'm going to be able to wait it looks so good already.

Also, linked references! Totally cool.

I'm really happy about this. This is the first step toward real credibility.
Is there anyway for me to get a physical journal and not just download the PDF's?

I think they will be doing that a little bit later on down the line -I think (I seem to remeber reading that). There was definitely a push to make it available somehow ASAP, since what's available now is already last years issues …

I am thrilled about it and I enjoyed reading Thomas Goddard's Integral Health care Management Article.  I look forward to reading more articles on health care in the future.

How about articles on Integral Nursing and Integral Health Care Insurance?
