Grey Just testing URLs in the grapevine. This link will take you to Pelle's blog: http://is.gd/ixdm (I want to see if this gets converted to a link or if you have to copy and paste it.) (10 months ago)

Grey Oof! Just saw this now, Siona.... Yeah, flutters I think it was... no, "flaps", but I don't like it much. "Flutter" was the name to replace "Grapevine". Anyway, I just used "tweets" here because it's more readily recognizable. :) (11 months ago)

Favored threads: Our flavors of the week

Lauren said Apr 13, 2007, 9:23 AM:

Hi all,

One thing I miss about the I-I forums is the function which allows you, when clicking on a user's name, to easily access all their recent posts and thus to see which threads they're currently active in.

So, I'm creating this thread to attempt to serve that purpose. Here we post what threads we're primarilly active on in recent days, also saying which board it is on. (This is generally for IIzaadz specific activity, though if you're involved in a really hot conversation on another pod you can certainly link to it.

IMO this is one great way to discover the conversations that are most interesting to you. I wouldn't suggest someone navigate through the pod using only this method, then neglected threads and boards and newer members or less prolific posters are even less likely to receive traffic and notice, but it can be a great resource, and one solid method for finding your way around here.

And for people with minds a bit scattered like my own, it would also be a great way to keep track of our own conversations.

I'll kick it off, below.

Best,
Lauren

Uh oh. Now I need to remember.

Well, on the Noosphere Nougat board the Is Beauty Irrelevant? thread.

On I-I Water Cooler the Jokes and Laughs thread,
and this thread. duh.

On Feedback and Suggestions, Alternative Way of Perusing the Pod.

And I'm following but not yet contributing to Faces of the Feminine and Masculine, on the Operating Principles board.

I'm heading off to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts until Monday, so I won't be around for a few days.

Blessings to everyone,
Lauren

For some good laughs and below-the-belt humor, check out The REAL Secret.

Good initiative to start this thread Lauren.
