Grey Oof! Just saw this now, Siona.... Yeah, flutters I think it was... no, "flaps", but I don't like it much. "Flutter" was the name to replace "Grapevine". Anyway, I just used "tweets" here because it's more readily recognizable. :) (11 months ago)

Integral (input word)

I've noticed that it's become trendy to place the word integral before any other idea, word or phrase and it is assumed that it means anything. Integral really just means to look at all the factors invovled, both macro/micro and personal/interpersonal/other.
Therefore it would seem that an integral perspective is just one that comes automatically from a certain state or quality of mind.
I'm waiting for someone to ask about integral sodomy or integral pizza making… it's gonna happen. Is integral a lifestyle or a philosophical framework? It seems that to have one thing and then to have that thing placed into an integral category inparts a constructed duality.
Everything is automatically integrated with everything else, and therefore it would seem “integral.”
Otherwise I-I is gonna start selling rubber bracelets saying “WWWD” or “What would Wilber do.”

Good point, Rick.  I've become conscious of doing that myself.  When I do it, my intent has been to suggest a manifestation of something (input word) that consciously incorporates or acknowledges multiple perspectives and approaches.  But it CAN become trendy and go in the direction of Brand Naming.  And that is not a direction I'd like to go…..
